These speakers sound amazing. They sound loud and clean. Best of all, they fit my 2005 Mustang rear speaker housing perfectly (I put the 5 X 7 SPR-57LS component speakers in the front). If you want great, loud, clean and refined sound from 5 X 7 speakers, these are the ones for you.
like wise the 6 by 9 i got the 6 by 8s for the front of my car, from best buy with the tweeters and the crossovers for an outragoes price like 300$ or something like that this is deffinatly a good deal and if i haddent already bought the deal from bestbuy I would buy these in a heart beat. it is deffinatly worth the money you will spend to get these magnifisant speakers.

These are awesome speakers. The highs are clean and clear, and the bass hits pretty nice for a 5x7. Fit my '96 Town Car perfectly.
All I can say is I am 35 and have been in the Car Audio game 15 plus years. I have always done my own installs and even took first place in comps. I never owened any Alpine Products..Fosgate, MTX, Sony, Kicker, Pioneer, and even Sherwood for you old school heads. But I just got these to throw in my Ford Explorer to run off a Sony CDX-900 (old) head unit and all I can say is WOW!!! VERY NICE, clean sound. Now wait for my other review to come soon. I just picked up from here all ALPINE (SPR-17C,SPR-17S,MRP-550) all going in my Tahoe...Kinda stuck between head unit choice right now...Sony or ALpine...Sony Has better SNR ratio and a few more features. But Alpine might win it just for consistency!!! ALPINE FOR ME HERE ON OUT!
these speakers are amazing. I have 6 hooked up in my 2003 f-150 supercrew pioneer 1000 watt amp with and eclipse head unit. when im at concerts tailgaing theres not anybod who comes close exelent highs and mids.
hey robert martinez, read again about Alpine headunits. Alpine's snr is better than Sony. They are so much more high quality than Sony. Sony doesn't give you variable crossover like Alpine. Sony doesn't have military grade mosfet transistors like Alpine, Sony doesn't high volt preouts like Alpine. Sony doesn't have parametric eq's like alpine. anyways, you get the point.
