This is one of the best woofers Alphine has put out, compared to the Alphine R-12's theses are good for the money value and the base highs are incredible!!!!!!!!! buy this !!!!!!!!
i had a pair of the older ones, and those hit very nice. But these now handle more power and just soud hella nice. The bass is clear and sound quility is something you would expect from a higher end sub (ex. jl w7). If you want bang for your buck this sub is worth every penny.
i have been working with car audio about 10 year when it really came out and alpine has it this sub for the money will crush everything T1,orion pro, the only subs on the same level is w6v2. the only thing better is its father the type x and the w7
One of these hits harder than my two 12" infinity references. Feeding this baby 1000 watts rms from a Hifonics TX1505D and it kills. I'm afraid to get two because this sub is about a foot behind me in my vette. Make sure you break in the sub before you feed it this much power.
this sub rocks i had 2 audiobahn 12 in a proted box and with a rockford T10001bd and sounded ok then went to the alpine type r had 1 12 sounded alot better than the audiobahns now i have the new type r and sounds great great sub for the money
Have to say I am glad I made this purchase. The low end gets very low and the sq on these are pretty good. I have heard better, but for the money these subs are in the elite class. I would get these if you are on a budget. If you have some money and like cleaner bass get the x.
I have heard almost every sub on the market, and this one is the one for the money. My car is hardly built for sub accomodation (1993 Del Sol)buti get incredible sound clarity and quality even though the trunk is separated from the cab by a metal sheet and a power back window... ive got it hooked up to an Alpine M605 and i cant even see out of my mirrors when i drive now! if your looking for a sub that has great sound quality over just noise (kickers) then this is the sub for the money
My score says it all ! - only fault looks wise i did not like was the ripple surround . But who cares because there are NOT many subs around that gives you this much bang 4 buck and plays really nice clean low end bass as these . U don't even need to put much wrms to get it moving but with rec wrms it really performs brilliantly . Don't u have any doubts - trust me and buy a PAIR , u will be so happy ! .....
I had this sub for a while. At First, I had a small box, since in m prelude, nothing else fitz, and it sounded likle it was bottoming out, but later, i got the perfect box for it, and this thing tumbs. Just one hint if u want this thing to bump, the box.
At first, i had two Kenwood 12's my dad bought for me...they sucked. So I went out and bougth 2 Alpine type R 12"s and a PlanetAudio 1000watt classD Mono-block amp. Now look at my score! The only subs that are better are the Type X, Boss G5, and the kickass JL W7!
this sub is no doubt one of the best out there!! it is so clean its unreal!!! it hits lows like no other i have 3 and im very impressed and pleased!!! MUST BUY!!!
I just picked up 2 of these bad boys last week and let me tell you i lovem, finally theres a sub that i could aford and still out due my friends, sounds great, i would tell anyone who dont have alot of cash to pick these up because there just great!!
I must agree with all the posts here. This sub does kick ass! I have the 12 inch model feeding it 400 plus watts off of my Kicker KX 700.5 in a Subzone ZV112-2030 ported box. Audio Control Epicenter thrown in there too and let me tell you, this thing always makes me smile!!!!! Can't imagine what two would sound like! Try this combo for bass. You will thank me......
10's in every category!! This is a great sub in every aspect. It has SQ while still satisfying the SPL competitor in all of us. A pair of these in a ported box has made my rear-view mirror fall off several times. I'm very pleased with these. Defeninently buy these if you're looking for something cheap and reliable.
i have two in a custom 5.3cubic ft box ported in a saturn on a jl 1000/1 and it created 145.3 db in tha passenger footwell sound quality is awesome and the hit is unbelivable my jl gain is not even turned on it is as low as the amp will let me the subs a getting 500 watts each and they love it they flex extreamly clean have had them for about 6months and they are still as tight and responsive as they were when i pulled em out of the box the H.A.M.R surround keeps the sub in control and allows it to excurt with ease. one day while messing around i put just one type r on the 1000/1 by it self and maxed the gain out i could not get the sub to bottom out it has no bottom. so if you want to set some house alarms off than a type r sub is for you just keep it powered and youll be set. p.s type x's are awesome too
I have 2 of these powered by a Rockford Fosgate p4002 1600watt amp. These subs thump even though the power is lower than recommended.
I have 2 of these in the back of my 97 eclipse hooked up to a Hifonics Brutus 1200. My amp is pushing 600 watts rms to eash sub. On my way to work, I was bumpin so hard that my chest hurt and I enjoyed every second of it. These are some kick ass subs!
i have 2 of these and they rock. i am only running 350 watts rms between the two of them and they still thump like mad. soon to be running 400 rms to each. hope i dont break a window, cause there are in a single cab f-150!
all i can say is WOW. this is paired with my alpine mrp-m650 and this slaps. its in a 1.25 ported box in my 2dr integra and its amazing. one is seriously good enough for my car. anyone who gets this wont be dissapointed.
I love these subs i just bought them and put them in a vented box in the back of my jeep. My ears still hurt from them i can feel my hair shaking when i turn them up. Well worth the price.
Clearly the best sub for the rms, it exceeds alpines ratings. If your looking to build a reasonable price system this is the sub to choose, but i wouldnt go as far as to say its as good as a W7
I have a set of the Dual 12inch 4ohm subs in my Bronco II, running two Punch 5002 amps (One amp to each sub). Even though I had to run them at an 8ohm load, I still hit 148.6db at the Db drag contest. I cant wait to see what they hit when I go to the Dual 2ohm subs. Warning though; DONT use any speaker grill covers on them. The excu* is insain.
I got only one for now, in a 2003 taurus with an audiobahn 800x1@1 ohm rack mount amp...at first i was extremely skeptical about a single woofer application but after installing it along with a tsunami 1.5 farad capacitor... I changed my mind, my particular setup sounds better than most of my boys no lie! some of the stereos they have are 2 audiobahn 1200n's....and 1 w6v2 (which it pretty much matched in output)...and 3 10" p2's...and my other boy has 3 12" p1's..... If you get one or two(ones good but two would be insane for the output per dollar) make sure you got at least 600 to 8 or 900 watts rms going to themi had previously used an old 400 kicker amp and it was alright but once i doubled its rms wattage it was over, if you get these you WILL NOT BE SORRY!
I just Put this sub in on saturday. It is being powered the alpine mrd-605 amp which is also a great alpine product and perfect for running this sub. At first i wasnt satisfied with it. But i made some changes in my box and other simple things and am now entirely pleased with it. I am planning on getting a second one and another mrd-605 amp for double output. I only have one and it hits pretty damn good but i want more. So im getting the second by the end of tihs week.
Bottom line, its everything youd expect from alpine, it bumps harder than just about any sub in its price range, sounds amazing in a sealed box and sounds decent in a ported, i started out with two in a ported mtx thunder box at 400rms watts 2 ohms a piece and it hit but i switched to a sealed and it is the most accurate sub ive ever heard excluding JL, send power through a alpine or jl amp your eardrums will pop, i have an 1800 watt power acoustic and its more than enough power, as long as you wire it down to 1ohm, but for $140 a piece you are just plain dumb if you get a kicker mtx pioneer or jbl over this, nuff said.
I have two of these powered by a kicker ZX1000.1 amp in an audio enhancer pb212 ported box and they hit hard. I never turn the amp past half the power because I can't take it, and the subs never bottom out. I have had punch, kicker, pioneer, and mtx woofers in the past, and there is no doubt this is the best sub i've ever had.
(3)swr 1242d (3)mrp-m650 in reg.cab chevy still cant hear the voices in my head very good product not to many r better great buy
i had the type s then i upgraded to this sub it was like whole new world i have the alpine m 450 going to it with a super bass box and it sounds great this sub is a great buy at this price
10 out of 10. I have two of these in a sealed box built to specs, i had a MTX ported box but the sealed hits MUCH harder. I drive a Cadillac which has a firewall in the trunk..The subs are still LOUD and CRISP, did i mention im starving them with only 200 watts rms going into each of them. About to get a RF 3,000 watt. Friends of mine have Kicker CVR, MTX MSX 12s, RF P 12s, JL 13w6s and an audiobahn aw12, and the only one that comes close to the output of type Rs are the JL, which are also amazing woofers. IMO pioneer tsw306dvc are a much better value if you can get them for under $50 a piece, but if you want top of the line SW and SPL get Alpine, they will rape most setups when pushed correctly.
I had two type S 12s in my colbalt with a alpine 650 for a while and thought they sounded good enough.. I upgraded to two type Rs and a alpine 1005 and WOW. These things are insane.. i cant even see straight goin down the road and it feels like my car is bout to fall apart. Ima have to get some new door speakers now just to hear the words. Even though i paid 500 for 2 of these at a local audio store, there still well worth it.
i've had kicker, rockford fosgate, diamond audio, and cliff designs and these subs hit the hardest and accurate out of all of them, not to mention that these were the cheapest. the car i drive is a buick park avenue and like cadillacs its hard to produce bass coming from the trunk, but with every note i rally feel it. if these subs sound great in my car then in the average car with less trunk space they will really impress.
I have two of these in a Q-Logic vented box and they slam. Im pushing 1000rms watts to them with a MB Quart RAA1000 amp. Now i need 2 buy new door speakers and 6x9's cause i cant hear any words. These are really good for tha money. They will also take way more rms power than what they rated at.
RIDICULOUS!! amazing subs... I work at a car audio store and i will be the first to tell anyone out there that these, behind its big bro the Type X and the JL W7, are the most bad ass subs on the market...clean and LOUD... I have two 12s run by a HiFonics Brutus 1606 super d amp in an Envoy XL..SLAMS...car alarms go off and you can be heard for blocks... If you are looking for a sub that will completly blow your mind, and ear drums, this is it...
Finally hooked my two 12s in a sealed box up to a hifonics brutus 1606D class amp. With the interior speakers disabled[8 of them to be exact] these hit 139 dB from inside a cadillac, with a 1" steel firewall in the trunk. I dont even want to imagine what they would do in a hatchback or small car. And im convinced... im definately going to stick with alpine for a long time.
WOW, this sub far exceeded my expectations. I have a single sub mounted in a custom box powered by an Alpine Mono amp @ 600 watts and it sounds amazing as a SQ sub, but also works well for SPL.
Simply the best sub for the money. I had one of these in my hatchback in a ported box. That thing got loud as heck. I actally wanted to put another in but i didnt have the air space. So i went with 2 JL 12 3v3's. Anywayse a very good clean accurate sub but to get max. performance u neeed to build a custom box for them ull wonder how u went without it
This sub blew my expectations away. If you have the right box and push it with enough power you can get a ridiculous amount of thump out of just a single sub setup. Im running it to a Kenwood 1800w D and it thumps wayy harder than all of my other friends two 12's definitly the best sub for the price.
great sub for the money you can get the same bass out of kickers ,rockfords , its just personal perfence there all good subs there all loud as hell just make sure you have a good box and a good amp that has a lot of real power. dont go to cheap my best advice !!!!!
I have two of these, being pushed by an /////ALPINE PDX 1.1000 (1000+W RMS). The subs hits hard and clean for the price. I used to have two Crunch amplifier pushing these, but they were inefficient, so I decided to get a CLASS D. Even though, these subs hits pretty, I am still upgrading to just one new (Kevlar/Rohacell cone)/////ALPINE Type-X for a cleaner output in a sealed box. These subs are probably one of the best performance/price ratio in the market.
This is the best bang for the buck sub on the market hands down. I have 2 of these hooked up to a Hifonics BXI2006D@ 1 OHM, thats 2000 watts rms and it pounds like no other. Just put these woofers in 3.5 cubic foot box to 5.0 cubic foot box and tune it to about 32-35 hrz and you'll set of car alarms all day.
started out with 4 of these in an alpine engineered customed ported tuned box, sq was great spl was good. since then i have reengineered boxes including oversizing boxes for my extended cab silverado. was winning spl competions for my class until i started breaking windows. plan to do more with pioneer spl's
I have two of these subs in a sealed box with an infinity 1211a amp pushing around 650 watts to each sub at 14v. These subs hit harder and louder than anything I have ever owned. I have never had any air leaks in my box but now I do. Guess I will have to purchase a tube of caulk..
i just bought an alpine 12" Type R 1500W Dual Voice 4 Ohm on August 8, 2007 and i hooked it up with 400W alpine Amp.and this thing is super loud and the bass is so solid this is The best Subwoofer ive ever heard. thee best.
I have 2 of these in a Ported box tuned to 34hz on an alpine m 1005 amp and these things slam louder then anything ive heard...setting off car alarms and great SQ make this sub an amazing deal
I have a previous review below but let me tell you, I love these woofers so much that I purchased one more for a total of three in a slot ported box tuned at 35-37 htz and being pushed by a Kicker ZX1000.1 and these things get off. I had a migrane headache the first day after getting the third one hooked up. I have these in an 04 Navigator that you can check out on Cardomain and see my hookup. I was about to sell my other two and buy 3 Kicker CVX 12's but I am glad that I didn't because I am getting all that I need until I order the Kicker ZX1500.1 to push them even harder. Alpine and Kicker are a great combo.
i have two of these hooked up to two seprate kenwood kac 1800 watt amps at 4 homs with a cda 9885 head unit and a ported box let me tell you theres no point in setting your mirrors with this set up you nock them out of place 12 notches will set off car alarms and im louder than anything around
i have two in a 4 cubic foot box bein pushed at 1 ohm stable by a hifonics Bxi2607D amp and it shakes my pathfinder. very good sub and the quality of sound is better than almost anything....except X12's
these subs are full of power! i have two of these in a sealed box with a hifonics 1606 class D monoblock amp and they pound! these are def. a really good deal for the money. its fun setting off car alarms driving through town! i recommend these for good sound quality and loud bass!
I have 2 of these in an extended cab new body silverado with a 4 cubic foot slot port box that I built and being pushed with a hifonics 1606, made the top flex so much that it actually split the roof!! (NO JOKE) after I got the roof fixed and triple layered dynamat I went and had it metered just under 150db!! 149.7 ive been into car audio for 12 years and have had every sub u can think of, for the money and the spl that these put out u will not be dissapointed!!
For Years I searched for the one... That woofer to play it all. I got that and more with a pair of these. Sound quality, faithful accuracy and overall musical beauty. Have both playing down to 1 ohm on a Hifonics BXi 1208, in a sealed 1.05 per chamber box. They take the power with composure. This is where I stop for woofers. Excellent product Alpine!
I bought 2 1242d 12 inch woofers in August of 2007, and pushed the recommended 500 watts rms each with a pdx 1.1000. Had them in the Trunk of an 04 Acura TL and killed everybody, then everyone started saying my system sucks because my trunk rattled, until they sat in it, then they shut up. Then i got a crew cab Silverado And had them in a sealed box sitting on the folded down back seat. sounded pretty good and pissed alot of people off. then they both blew up. about a month apart they sizzled and smoked and then they were dead, in less than a year. They were professionally installed for over 300 bucks so it was definitely the subs. But they were so loud i will buy them again!!
ok this is a followup on one of my reviews previously. my new setup is still the BrutusBXi2607D in a pathfinder w/ 4 Earthquake DBxI 12's in 8cu box and plays about 153 on a termlab dB meter. 0 guage wire, capped, the works. The truth is id still rather have my alpines, the spl isnt the best, the sql isnt the best but all around theyre great subs. i had mine in a 4cu box ported and overpowered them with 2600watts RMS people and they never whined or blew. set them up right to spec and experience the best bang for the buck today in a 12 inch subwoofer.
You cannot beat these for the money. I have two of these hooked up to a alpine M1000 amp in a ported box in a Jeep Cherokee. The amp is also a steal. I got almost the lowest power possible into these from the amp and they bumpp. Extremely loud and really clear. Comparable to the JL W6. Buy this sub. You will never regret it. I would take this over the JL W3 any day.
I have two of these in a '95 Silverado x-cab and let me tell you these subs pound. My head unit is an Alpine IVA-D310 with a Memphis Belle 5-channel amp.The mono sub channel puts out 1100 watts @ 1 ohm and these subs handle it with no problems. So what does this all mean?Get a pair of these Alpines you won't be disappointed!!!
i got two hooked up to a infinity 611A with cap in my 4 door blazer i opened my trunk set it up next to a ricer car dude was a jackass put it on +3 sub and smashed one of his widows buy them here and only here since the price is badass ha thats all peace...
Great subs crappy site to order from!!! If you read this stop here and go to woofersetc!!! You get the same thing for 18 dollars more plus shipping but you also get much better service!!
I have two of these running off the Alpine mrp m850 and these are the best subs ive had. They hit harder than my MA Audio 15s i took out.
I have two of these hooked up to an alpine 1000w amp in the trunk of a Honda civic. When I'm driving I can't feel bumps in the road because these woofers vibrate the car so hard. Its like they double as a but and back massager. BUY THEM!!!
I bought these to replace my kenwood kfcw3011 subs which where decent. But this hits harder with the same amount of watts of 500 rms. I saved 100 dollars from the local best buy store and shipping was fast, it only took 2 days from ordering to delivery. But then again I live only 350 miles from their store. I would recommend them to anyone that wants good sound without depleting thier wallets.
I just upgraded to 2 of these in a vented box with a rockford p600 amp from two kenwood kfc3011 in a sealed box and this was the first time my ears actually hurt from the bass. the mids rock the deep bass just pounds get these subs they beat
my friend ha s2 of these in a homemade ported box and they quake! he sets off car alarms in the neighborhood! my parents dont like it when he comes over he shakes pics off my walls!
i have 2 12"s hooked up in my 03 acura tl and a 2400 watt lanzar amp and man these things pound so hard my rearview mirror got nocked off the window man and my trunk flew open.. they will get you the best bang for your buck man
Is your hearing so sharp it's annoying? Do you understand what people say without them repeating it? Don't you wish someone would give you a back massage whenever you want one? Port two of these like I did and your problems will be solved! Hold on a sec, my phones ringing... Nope! That's my ears!
if have 2 12" typer Rs and a 2000 watt profile amp runng at 2 omhs its says it should be about 4000 watts and my subs take it now poblem
i just upgraded from 2 12' kicker comp cvr i miss them so much (not) now i have 3 12' alpine type r dual 4 ohm to a 2.67 ohm load on a kicker 1500.1 zx the gain is turned up like 75% and the bass boost is about 75% and the freq. is about 80 its in a 97 corolla the trunk flex's up n down. pownds hards ne song s soon as i installed it today every head turns on the street im so happy. 3 12'
I got two of these hooked up at 2 ohms to a Kicker ZX1000.1 and a Alpine MRP.500 in a 95 Chevy 1500 Extended Cab and these things BUMP!!!. They hit so hard you cant even breath. Still need to get two Capacitors and one more Alpine R12 and my system will be complete. So go for this Alpine's they wont do you wrong.
6 of these in a 2000 Durango on a 2100 watt Orion competition amp getting 17 volts from 4 batteries, in a wall form with a port that you can sit your 3 year old kid in will take you breath away 162 db on board amp was making 4122 watts.
I got two of these with a Orion hcca 2400 watt amp and these things pound. Get these!!!!
Custom made my slotted port box to Alpine's specs (with some tweeking in the dimensions). I installed the box in my quad cab between the two front seats with an added storage area on top. It's not as imposing as it may sound. The sub sounds amazing. I only have about 300 watts going in but am more than happy with the results (i also took the components from a 8" kicker truck box and custom installed them into the front doors and then put 6.5" JVC's in the rear doors). Everyone that hears the new sub (used to run two 8" RF Punch 1's)comment how clear and tight the response is to all the types of music I play through it.
This speaker is great for a SQ sound system. I listen to all types of music but mostly R&B and Reggae. This speaker puts out clean, clear and deep sound. I have two of them in a ported box amp by a Rockford Fosgate 1001bd mono block inside a 07 Mazda3 and the sound is unreal. If you want nice clean sound for a good price pick this suboofer you won't regret it.
i have two of these in a ported box with a 2000 watt infinity amp with a 10 farrad cap in a extended cab f-150 and these things slam so hard i cant sit in my truck for more than 5 min with the volume knob up half way. i have out hit 2 boss cahos 15's with theses. nice buy for the money
These subs pound and without sacrificing too much SQ. These are SQL subs so if you want loud without much distortion, this is the sub for you.. I have one powered by an alpine mrp-m850 (800 watts rms) in my infiniti i30. This things pounds. I can outdo people with double my money in the trunk. There are louder subs out there, many of which are much more expensive. And many of the subs that are louder than these are pure SPL subs which have no SQ.. (such as the l7's) so if you just like loud crappy bass then yeah go for those, but type r's are so much better in my opinion. My friend can hear me from a mile away.. No exaggeration!! These subs handle more than their power rating also.. Going over their rating is not as big a deal as some make it out to be.. And underpowering your subs is almost worse than over-powering them. Yes, if you over-power or under-power you are running the risk of burning your voice coils.. but i'm confident that it will handle it.. These are some of the best subs out there.. And definitely the best out there for less than $200-$300. If you are going to get these.. please do not underpower them.. that would be such a sad sight to burn these up cause you dont have the extra cash to upgrade your amp. Anyway get these.. Trust me you wont be disappointed..
i bought one about a week ago. it was awsome tell the voice coil went back. the damn thing hit hard and louder then my two kicker cvrs 10s and it was one 12. alpine has a crappy customor service. it wasnt my fault it blow up my amp was turned down more then half way so it was the sub i got. well if u want loud get one i fell in love wit mine now i dnt have one but i will get one soon.
i have 2 of them 4 ohm with a pdx1-1000 and it bangs im hiting 171 dbs and thair not even broken in yetbest bang for ur buck
Amazing is all i have to say for these. I have 2 of them hooked up to a hifinics brutus 1600 running at 1 ohm and its crazy loud. these blew my mtx 7500s out of the water!!
I bought to 12s and man are they loud the hit harder thn any other 12s out there for the price. And there not easy to blow. I have 2 12s powered by a 1200w amp and it shakes my back window. I love these subs
i got two of these wired to 1 ohm with a SoundStorm CR5000.1 this thing is loud. i mean really loud loudest 12's i heard they are clean and low. i have the box to 32 hz and it shakes my car. it sets off car alarms like it is it job.
i had two of these hooked up to a 2500 watt mtx amp till i blew one with a basketball in my trunk (complete accident) the best i ever had or heard me and my friend have the same system and he says the same
i had 2 of these in my 05 impala with an mtx 81000d amp. it is 1500rms and they sounded so good. let everyone know i was coming.
I put 2 of these in a 1999 honda accord lx 4 dr, ported the box and they are aimed backwards towards the rear. i have a 2000watt soundstream pushing them, i hit 162 db
I have one alpine with 250w RMS goin to it in my uncle's 07 ranger and it moves the back glass a inch with the amp all the way down. this is the best speaker i have ever had and this is the only type i will buy now. i sat in it for 15 and got out and my ears rang for 3 hours.
previously bought two of these type r 12s. I wasn't disappointed. They are amazing subs, the problem is finding one amp with enough rms watts to power both subs. Right now I only have a 760 two channel pioneer amp powering it and they sound amazing.
This subs i got them in my ride and they hit hard i rate them #1 in my list so if ur looking for some subs this r the ones u want
got two of these subs and they are the cleanest things imaginable. sounds great and thump get a amp that can power then and wont go into protection mode.
Just got my Type R today. Got to me in just two days. It slams so hard and its not even broken in yet. You have to go with Alpine they are by far the best. It rattles the hell out of my 00 Civic. And the price is great.
i have the new 2010 type r's. there 600rms 1800 peak. the only diff. between this one and the old one is they shortened it up bout 1'' and gave it almost .75'' more flex. i got them on a soundstream 2100 watt peak 1050 rms @ 4 ohms. and in a box just shy of 5 cubic ft. there loud but my amp isnt cutting it. soon to be rumming the mrp2000. well worth the $$$. oh ya the new r's have a little r on the cone not a big one...
I have one of these in a 2.75 cu. ft ported box hooked up to a JL Audio 500/1 in the back of my RSX. This speaker is great!!! It flexes my hatch window no problems and is very durable. I pound this thing hard on my 40 minute drive to work everyday with no issues
If you have a car that is a sedan or coupe that has a traditional trunk one of these subs is all you need. In fact...with the right enclosure in many cases one slammed better in a mid sized car then two. I have one of these in a 2.50 cubic foot slot port enclosure in a Jetta and it is unreal. I used to have one in a 1.50 slot and doesn't even compare. Give this thing a big enclosure and the bass is unreal. Very good sound quality but I have heard some others that are better but no be mistaken this subwoofer has good sq just not that best. With that note though the SPL it is top notch and it doesn't sound crappy at all. It's amazing. For the money especially you really can't beat this sub in my opinion. It's also one tough s.o.b. I don't totally abuse it have have a 1200 Hifonics amp to it at 2 ohms and the sub never gets hot. 100% satid
I JUST GOT 1 FOR $100.AND I CANT WAIT 2 HOOK IT UP2 MY 500 RMS T.M.A AMP.. IM READY 2 WAKE MY WHOLE HOOOOD..
i had 2 of the 4 ohms in my astro van kooked up to 2 separate alpine mrp450 amps and the only person i have seen keep up was a truck wit 4 18s lol and i paid less than 400 for everything. the best subs ever.
