The VM9512 is one of the best flip up players i have ever ownedgives you everything you want in a car stereogives you so many ways to have and store your music. Its one of if not the best media centers on the market today.
This stereo does it all. Works great with my Bluetooth phone both for calls and streaming music. Does great with SD, DVDs I've burned and Divx movies

this unit has been nothing but trouble since I got it. when you ply a cd or dvd it just stops in the midle of a song and it cuts off the first couple of seconds on each song when they start to play. I keep getting bad disc reading and it ejects the cd immediately after. It's a Jenson tho so what was I expecting. I wouldn't buy this again if I had the chance.
I concur with Mike from Maryland, but I think my testimoy might be worst. I actually had two (2) of these brand-new factory sealed units installed (double cost) and my unit too constantly displays bad disc, then ejects. This has also occured with Brand New Discs. The CD text on neither unit ever worked--only the MP3 Player displays. Scrolling up or down songs is impossible as You can hear the unit strugglin to play a song waiting sometimes more than 10 minutes to finally resume play. DO NOT BUY this unit. It is terrible. It will work perfect for about 2 weeks and it's done. Jensen was already a fair product to begin with now this one is poor. Between resending units, removal and re-installations, it has cost me 1/2 the cost of what I paid for the unit w/o reimbursement. Honestly, I wouldn't pay $50 bucks for this unit.
FOR THE LAST TWO REVIEWS, MAYBE YALL HAD A BAD UNIT. BUT I HAD MY UNIT FOR A YEAR AND IT WORK REAL GOOD EXCEPT IT DONT READ SOME OF MY CDS. I THINK I RECORD THEM WRONG. BUT EVERYTHING IS WORKIN GOOD.ONLY THING LEFT FOR ME TO GET IS THE NAV 101. I WOULD BUY THIS UNIT IF I HAVE TO AGAIN.
Folks, it's a Jensen and as previously stated you get what you pay for. I'm on my second unit, the first one lasted a year. It gives you error messages when loading cds or dvds from time to time, but it eventually corrects itself. The BT interface is great for music, however the phone function is so-so. The Nav function isn't too bad, however it freezes at times. and the images are a tad "cartoony" for my taste. However, the SD, USB, and Ipod inputs are a plus. If you must game in your vehicle, then the aux inputs will allow for standard def gaming. If you want quality, get a second job, save you pennies and live at home with your parents until you can get something else. Bottom line if you are on a budget and must have all the bells and whistles then here you go.
Best stereo ive ever purchased and ive had pioneers alpines dual u name it ive had it in one vehicle or another and this is by far my favorite over all and the best thing i have ever installed very quick and easy install even my ignorant freind was able to install this in his mazda ive put 5 of these into 5 different vehicles i own and many more into freinds
One thing i regret is getting rid of mine/ I appreciate jensen for stepping it up on the dvd units however others are some crap and alpine is not affordable SHAME ON YOU (ALPINE) YOUR WORST THAN THE PRICE ON JORDANS! COME DOWN ON THE PRICES , MAKE IT AFFORDABLE THAT HOW YOU MAKE QUANTITY SALES!
