I just bougt this amp to push two MTX thunder 5500 300wats rms each and its hits hard for the prise you cant go wrong and its Alpine what more can I say.All of this in a single cab F150
I have this powering a single Alpine SWR-1042D in a custom box. Powers the sub quite well and bass quality is great, no noise. Runs cool, only con is the 50hz bass gain isn't remote.
Great amp !!! it is small and powerful ,i have it working with a alpine 10 inches sub at 500 rms both and it is hard. The bass is good. I will recommend this amp all the time
This a very nice amp for the money and runs mu Sub to perfection, I was surprised by the amount of power...very worth the money... Im running 1 JL 12W0, but plan on going to 2 10's
I have this amp wired to two 12" subs and they beat hard. I only have it wired at 4 ohm and it's impressive. Sounds Great, Looks sharp, Small size, overall perfection.

this lil' baby rocks for the money, puts out clean and even power. small enough to fit in corner of trunk or under seat. bass booth function is a plus.
this isn't a pdx but it still rocks I have it hooked up to an infinity kappa 12 it has awesome sound quality I let a friend borrow it and he had 2 kenwood 12's it sounded more like they had a 1000 watts great buy so is the mrp-300 good 4 channel amp
I just picked up this amp and it sounds better then the rockford that I had previously. Lots of power but it's a pain in the ass to try and connect 4 gauge wire to the terminals. Once it's hooked up it's worth the money. This amp is hooked up to 2 JBL 15" @ 2 ohms and it hits hard.
i have this amp hooked up to a kicker l7 and hits so hard my friends have been tripin over since. my future plans is to get another one and hook it up to another l7 and have double the bass
This amp is very efficient. I have one hooked up to a type R. I suggest going a little bit above the type r's RMS rating. The amp is very powerful though. Only con is that I am having a hard time getting my 4 gauge wires to stay secure. The terminals are way too small!

Very good amp as far as the power goes. Very clean, hits crisp and accurate...although i had mine mounted on the back of my seat and the plastic corner piece broke off..t the most durable....
This amp is def well worth this price. You arent gonna find a better deal anywhere. I had a pyramid 1000 watt and i have this amp set at 4 ohms and its pushin about 300 watts and its easily twice as loud as the pyramid and the sound quality is like no other. Alpine knows there stuff.
i have this amp pushing 2 type r 12's and it sounds much better and runs alot cooler then the kicker before great amp for the price but the shipping was kind of slow (11 days to ohio) but what do you expect it is free
I put this in my 04 Nissan Altmia hooked up to a single Apline 12 inch sub-woofer. This little amp is bad ass. You will not hear me from 2 blocks away but inside my car it sounds like a night club. Little amp with a lot of power. Real good buy!
Best amplifier for the value. I searched around online and this amp on this site had the best reviews for what I was willing to pay. Compared to my old amps which I bought used, this amp has way clearer sound. Hooked this amp up to my dual 10's and wired them down correctly to 2 ohms. After installing, I tweaked the settings of my amp and receiver for about a minute and then turned the volume up and had my car bumpin! The free shipping was fast, it only took about 5 days to reach my house. My advice: If your looking for an amp to power a 500 watt sub at 2 ohms buy this, or if your looking for an amp to power 2 subs at 250 watts a piece buy this!
this amp sucks it keeps cuting out at half way up on two dvc 4ohm pioneers premiers wired at 4 ohm plays one sub fine but two is a no go do not buy
this amp rocks im pushing to jl w3 4 ohm subs with it and it pushes beyond what they can take i had to turn it down love it
First off, let me just say. I've always been a fan of Alpine, been using there equipment since i did my first car install. I have two of these Alpine MRP-M500 amps pushing two Alpine 12' Type R subs. If you love good clean straight bass and are on a budget this is the mono amp for you!!!
Have this hooked up to a tcvt12. Very clean, inexpensive, and small if you are tight on space like I am. This amp is makes my kicker hit hard, I love it. Totally satisfied with this buy.
great lil amp bought mine used n it played loud and clear til the day i sold it! it powerered an old rockford z series nicely til it blew one day, 2 10" kenwoods til one of them blew. n it was powering my kicker cvx till just yesterday wen i sold it. dont try to hook up 4g wiring kit to it tho u would be lucky to get them fit properly.great amp for the price tho would deff reccommend!
I installed this amp on the rear seat of an Eclipse to drive an Alpine 10" sub. It does a great job with plenty of head room and clean, deep, rich bass. I have the sub set for 2 ohms and it hasn't even made the amp sweat, so far. Lots of thump, plenty of flexibility in set up. I couldn't be more pleased.
This amp make my Diamond Audio 12" sub, down right bump. A very clean amp and thay dont even tell u what the peak watts are, if I was to guess it would be around 800 to 900 max. This amp stays cool too, so u know it will last.
i run this amp with a pair of 12 inch pioneer older subs,dont remember the model #.a 96 taurus with 2 infintys in the rtear,2 in the doors. I think they are 5x7.the m500 impressed me how hard it hit those 2 pioneers.my nose hairs tickled all the time and had to rub my nose to scratch the tickle away.for the money its a nice amplifier.going to put it in my ranger now hitting one dual channel 12 wired to 2ohm load. In that small cab it should do the job.my 96 taurus had only 38k miles on it,allways used senthetic oil,motor locked up,lost there,was my grandparents car and it was taken care of so cant figure why it locked up,oh i know,its a ford.anyway,the m500 its a nice amp,shure it will last longer than the car did.
there is only one downside to this amp n its is trying to fit 4ga wiring kit to it, other then that i would reccommend to anyone tryin to match something in this power range, deff the best bang for the buck of all the amps ive ever had, my buddy even set off a car alarm with 1 of these.
This amp is a real solid buy... My experience with Alpine is that you know what you are going to get. When it says 500w RMS it means 500w RMS. I have this powering a type R sub @ 2 ohms and it just kills it. The gain is up all the way and I've had it like that for 8 months or so. The amp has not let up one bit, and doesn't have a problem making my Type R slam. The amp has never shut down on me once, and never gets to hot to play even in 100 degree heat. I could go on all day with great things to say about this amp, but bottom line if you are thinking about getting it... GET IT!
I have this amp pushing 2 10" Rockford Fosgates and it handles them very well. It never gets hot or cuts out, and the sound quality is awesome. If you want the best amp for around $200, GET IT. Only problem is fitting 4 ga wire into it.
got this amp running my 12 in rockford P2 and it pushes great the sound quality is outstanding. i would recomend this amp for sure!
I've owned one of these amps and i gotta say it powered my 15 inch rockfords and my 10 inch jl's like they were nothing i totally recommend this amp to anybody lookin for an amp that will provide the right amount of power for your system. I had taken my truck to an audio comp and i got 5th with this amp and my 15's and my 10's hooked up to it.
Amazing power for the compactness of this amp. I have it pushing my alpine 10" type S 900w and it does so well. Doesnt get hot and mounts clean. I would recommend this amp to anyone. Alpine makes quality products unlike pioneer which is sucks.
I've had this sub running a 10" Type R for about 3 years with the gain and bass boost at around 3/4. It was used all year round, and believe me when I say it gets darn cold up here in the winter. Anyway, I finally killed this amp after 3 years of heavy abuse and needless to say I am very pleased it lasted as long as it did. This amp gets my reccomendation.
I rarely give a full star review, but this amp worked amazingly. Small and compact yet packs a huge punch. I've powered two type R's with it, then when I upgraded to type X's it still delivered great power. Never got hot, never cut off.
Owned for over 8 years and still pushing 2 JL 10s clean.
Very well worth the money. I have this hooked up to two 12" Kicker Comp subs. together they are rated for 300w RMS and I have been pushing them with this and I am very pleased at how well they work together! I have never had any issues with this amp and as long as you know how to wire up a car stereo system, neither will you.
This is a nice little powerful amp.
I drive 1 10" sub in a sealed box with this amp. It thumps. It hits so hard that the rear view mirror won't stay in place. If you want a great bass thump, this is your amp!!!
I use this with 3 dvc 10” mtx subs in a ported box and this amp will slam them
