Plus One Polypropylene Cone
The Infinity Primus PR6512is comes with the famous Plus One polypropylene cone and a hi-roll rubber surround, giving it the ability to deliver accurate mids and lows with minimal distortion. It has more surface area than a regular 6.5-inch woofer, which means that it has better airflow, resulting in improved bass output.
Edge-Driven Tweeter
With its edge-driven tweeter, you get clear and bright highs with a minimal breakup and better dispersion than other tweeters in the market. Features:
- Plus One Woofer Cones: The Plus One speaker cones offer more surface area than other speakers that fit in the same size opening. This is accomplished by using a new basket design and hi-roll surround. The result is greater bass output and an increase in efficiency.
- Impedance: The Primus Series speakers feature 2.7? voice coils to compensate for the high in-line resistance of small gauge factory wiring and extract every watt from the factory receiver, increasing overall system output and efficiency (relative to 4-ohm speakers). The speakers also benefit from increased power when you upgrade the wire and add aftermarket amplifiers capable of powering a lower impedance load.
- Mounting: Infinity markets these speakers as 6-1/2"; they will fit in standard 6-1/2" speaker openings (approximately 5" diameter), but they do not use the standard 6-1/2" speaker bolt pattern. In order to install them in standard 6-1/2" applications you must drill new screw holes. If new holes are drilled in the mounting surface of the car, no bracket is needed. If drilling in the car is not an option, the included brackets can be used, which have standard 6-1/2" mounting holes and the Ford non-symmetric four hole pattern. The brackets also offer several other non-standard hole patterns. When using the brackets the depth becomes 1.827" and the mounting height becomes 0.886". The speakers are easily installed in many standard 4-hole 6-3/4" applications with no modification. Enter your vehicle information to confirm fit.

Very nice clean sounding speakers for the money replaced the door speakers in a 2013 cadillac xts and sound great.

Way way better than the sound that comes out from the speakers on my Honda Fit. Truly an Infinity quality speaker. Very balanced sound from all the frequencies. Much affordable option too.

Classy sound for the price. No problem with the installation. Didn’t take much of my time too. Easier than expected. Mids and highs are really exceptional for my taste. Bass lacks a little bit but still better than the 6.5s I got before.
