I have had tons of amps in my day....Pioneer,Sansui,Alpine,pecision Power and let me tell you this amp kichs butt!!! The only aforementioned amp that was in the same class as this amp was the Precision Power amp that cost $800. This amp hust flat out rocks!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Also have bought a couple of items from ONLINECARSTEREO and I give them a 10 out of 10.
This amp is an excellent purchase, it has an excellent sound quality and has an incredible look, smooth and elegant. The heat sink works pretty fine, at least with me it hasn't be overheated. All the controls are beneath an aluminum cover that has to be removed with an allen wrench, and sometimes this can mean a hassle if you are unsure about the final settings, but this cannot be a con. Compared with more expensive brands, this amp has the same performance with leeeeeeeeess money. Worth it every penny!
I have had much experience with kenwood amps, starting with kac-746, kac-748, kac-728 and a few MTX amps. I can tell you that there is no more solid series amps out there, it isn't as fancy as the Excelon series, but if you need a dependable amp without the bells and whissles. this is the one. I'm running a full Infinity Kappa set up. I'm also running a Kac-9152 running my subs, Diamond tens
This is the best AMP I ever owned it is awesoe how it handles 2 6"1/2 Component speakers and a 10" Sub on my Accord Station Wagon
