Awesome sound. Hits both highs and lows very well. It only has bass boost on channels 3 and 4. I think it is rated a little low on wattage, because it sounds alot louder than 70 watts RMS. A very good for about $250- $300.
Everything i was looking for in a 4-channel amp, hooked it up to my polk momo and boston acoustics components and almost jizzed my pants it sounded so nice compared to my old pioneer amp, definatly worth the money too!
All I can say is that Alpine is the best. I have this amp push a set of Pioneer REV 6-1/2 components up front and the REV 6-1/2 coaxials in the rear. I had been running these speakers off my Pioneer Premier DEH-780MP and they were playing clear but not loud. Now that I connected the Alpine MRP-F450 these speakers sound superb!
This is the heart and soul of my audio system. It runs off my factory Ford Focus head unit, powers JBL P8652's on channels 1 and 2 and Infinity's 1250w subwoofer off channels 3 and 4 bridged. Channels 1 and 2 put 70 per channel watts RMS to the JBL's in my front doors and in bridged mode channels 3 and 4 put 220 watts RMS to the Infinity. The price at OnlineCarStereo can't be beat. I searched everywhere for a better deal and it wasn't to be found. In fact it beat most retailers by $100.00. This amp and speaker/subwoofer setup really fills up my Focus with an abundance of sound, clear, loud and very clean.
My sound system needed an upgrade, badly. I was running Pioneer 6x8s off a Premier deck. I installed this amp pushing Infinity components all the way around. Now when I'm cranking DMB, it sounds like Dave is riding shotgun playing the guitar. I definitely swear by Alpine for the highs amps.
