I am an employee at best buy, so i got a hella good price on this (this is also a great price). Normally i don't buy car audio from bestbuy but this was well worth it, i had it pushing two 12 P3's and they can't handle the power so now i am looking at the RE SX or FI Q to see if i can satisfy my bass craving
either way this is a great value. we all know amplifiers are not cheap especially if its a rockford or . comparing this amp to the jl 1000/ is a win loose situation. the jl amp has a lot more flexibility, but is also a lot more expensive. this fosgate amp is definitly packing power i can tell you that. and a very well built amp at that, with clean install. i have it on 2 12w7 in a professional built ported box in a cobalt. i plan on having another 1 of these powering each sub. buy it
Great power pusher for the money... This amp is pushing two solo baric L5 10 inch subs in my car now, and i have to say i am impressed with the amp AND the subs....The only problem i have had is ACU fuse keeps blowing (60amp) so if you install this amp, use different style fuse block than AGU, i recommend at least 125amp fuse when bringing this amp to life!
Have this amp pushing 2 type r alpine 12's and this thing dropps. Up there with the memphis 1000
Got this amp for 100 bucks to use with my Eclipse Titanium 12inch sub, its a dual 4ohm sub so I have the amp at 2ohms it pounds like two 15inch subs,don't know how much power it's really putting out but I know it's more than 500rms they claim. First rockford amp and loving it

this amp is crazy! i have this hook up to 1 12" alphasonik mayhem to 1 ohm and my winshield flex up to 2 inches, i even cracked my back winshield! this amp performs and stays cool. 1 of the best amps out there!!!
For the price you CANNOT beat the amp. Sure there are other amps out there in the "1000x1" class that will beat this amp none for this price. Running this amp on 2 12" DVC Rockord P3 Subwoofers which are 500rms each in a 4.45 cu ft box tuned to 37hz. all pushed at 1ohm. I beat the hell out of these subs and the amp is just luke warm! First off, let say that if you are not happy with your sub and amp, first check your box! TOTAL world of difference to have a box built to size specs for the subs not to mention switch from sealed to ported enclosure. amazing My amp birthsheet stated 1334 RMS watts. INSANE. If I ever swap out my subs and get 2 12's that are 1000 rms each, I will definately buy another 1000bd.

Very expensive fosgate amp.Very powerful fosgate amp.Very easy to burn out fosgte amp.Why??They didnt put a fuse in it!!What?For the money and technology no fuse??I mean cheap generic brand amps have fuses.Then fosgate learned their lesson and fused the newer amps.U see 1 of these,stay away.Burnt 3 of them.Ur fuse isnt goin to stop this amp from smoking out cheech and chong as it has no fuse itself to burn 1st before it burns itself
ill keep this short. Dont buy this amp. Its a powerful amp thats good. But what good is that when it doesnt have any protection!!No fuses at all on the outside or inside.Meaning you cant use it to push bass or without checking on it every 10 minutes!!Whaaat??All this money and no fuse.As i said powersul wich makes u like it so much that u buy 3 more like me then realize had it had a fuse i woulda still been on the first 1 and $2000 not spent!I ended up taking all 3 amps to shop and guess what??The issues on all the amps are a common fosgate bd1000 problem rhat a .25 cent fuse woulda saved the amp. So all this garbage about fosgate being so high tech well i woulda put a fuse in there had i owned fosgate and im a drop out. Funny how the same amp with no fuse all the sudden has a new version with not only outside fuse but built in fuse. And all of us not rich people like r.F who lost ourr money on their mistake must sit back and say oh wow!A new bd1000 amp!With a fuse!I want it. Oh wait a minute why the hell didnt u guys put this in on the last 1???U been making amps for decades.U still habent learned amps need fuses especially 1,000 watt amps. Im going back to alpine. Back in 80"s and 90"s thats all i used. Never had 1 die and they always used fuses.Even on 25watt amps. Alpines technology is way better.A 1000watt alpine will do what a fosgate 1000w will do. Except the alpine will last long emough to give to your kid instead of using it as a ancor for a boat like me. But heck,3 bd1000 amps tied together as my hiat ancor actually works better then real ancor.Costed $2,000 to make a $40 ancor but i had no choice.
Ill keep this short. Dont buy these amps!No fuse in or out. No fan. For this price i feel all of us who blew their amp because rockford couldnt put a 5 cent fuse on this coulda saved us poor people their hard earned money. 1 slip up and it goes up in smoke.Atleast a car dealer will do a recall and help you. Rockfod just came out with a newer version with a fuse and those who spent hundreds are stuck with this junkt even ised for $20 dont buy it..,mine lasted 1 month professional install.Simple ground or got hot or of a fly lands on the dang thing causing any tiny issue,,pop!Not the fuse as it has none,but pop goes the amp and $400!!
