Bought a pair two summers ago. Noticed some distortion recently. Pulled them out and the woofer surround was completely unglued and curl up as though heat had done them in. Not even 10 hrs of play time. I have the older model of the 6x9s and matching 6.5s along with another pair of 6.5s in the boat for a total of 4 6.5s and 4 6x9s. Going on 6 yrs this summer and no problems frrom the others other than the tweeter going out in the x9s and the 6.5s.
