Yo this amp is the best it is very high quality has everything a bass head wants in a amp i have 2 on 2 hcca 10.2's in a 1998 gmc 2500 extended cab shakes the shit out of roof and back winshield only down side is powering it i have 2 kinectic hc2000's and a 240 amp stinger altornator if u got about $3000 to drop on a system for truck or car orion is where its at FORGET HATERS!
i have this bad boy pushing 4 kicker cvr's all dual 2's droped down to 1 ohm in my 99 f-150 i have each one in its own single ported boy and man it gives you that punch bass that takes your breath away love this amp but you have to run 2 batteries and i also have a cap but any way this amp is a beast
I couldn't believe the sound quality and power I was getting for such a great price. I have it hooked up to one 12" power acoustik mofo with dual 2 ohm voice coils in a ported box. That setup is in the hatch of my ford focus. The bass is crazy! Not only that but this amp controls the sub very well and blew me away with the quality. I just had a diamond audio D6 amp 1500.1 go bad on me a couple of weeks ago and the Orion was my choice to replace it. As far as a bass amp, the Orion is the better choice. Sorry Diamond audio, your amps don't compare. One last thing, the sales department for Online Car Stereo was very awesome to work with. They took great care of me!
I use to be in the car audio biz big time when orion, fosgate and mtx and more where all down the street in tempe, Az back n the day and I wasn't too impressed until orion came back and they came back hard with my all time fav from orion the Xtr line-up so bought the xtr 5-1/4" and 6-1/2" component sets powered by the xtr 600.4 amp and bought the xtr 1500D to power a pair of xtr 12"s and all I can say is WOW!! orion is def back in the game with quality and performance to spare.. i can run em hard and they still take it.. so glad the new owners went back to the roots and did a modern style interpretation of the original orion xtr series.. cant go wrong with orion's xtr's if u want clean while still giving u loud love the 1500D amp pushes my 2 xtr12"s with ease
