I'm a 40 year old guy who has been into sound systems since I was a kid, I was never all about a certain brand name but more into sound quality. This led me to build systems using brands like Orion, GS Design, Rockford Fosgate and USA Amps.. So when it was time to replace my Sub and Amp in my Blazer I settled on Kickers 15'' CVX Dual Voice Coil 4 ohm Sub and Alpines MRX-M110 Class D Mono Amp. I orderd it on a friday afternoon and to my surprise I promptly received it wednesday evening.. I'm very happy with my purchase. The amp has plenty of clean RMS power, with all the proper adjustments you would expect on a class D Mono Amp, Gain, sub filter, LP Crossover and db bass Boost up to +12 db. A Great Amp!! with a small foot print with this Amp you can't go wrong! best Amp out there for the price. In my opinion you can't go wrong with Kicker products, the Kicker CVX is no exception, A very bad ass woofer. It has all the features that make it a great woofer, I'm running it in a 5' ported box tuned to 38 hz, people can't believe I'm running a single 15. I don't believe there is a better one on the market for the price. P.S The bass in this system is crisp, clean and can damage your ears if not played responsively, not to mention it only cost $ 279.00 for the Amp and $ 259.00 for the Woofer making it the cheepest combo I have done to date. Wow, this amp delivers. You can always count on Alpine. Im running this amp with a 12" RE Sex sub in a ported box and have yet to have any issues like amp going into protect mode. At only half gain, I am able to raise hell on these streets. Great investment for our listeners pleasure. Lastly, the best deal I found was right here at onlinecarsterio.
Amp does it's job and does it well. Love it and definitely put a good note with me to continue to buy Alpine products. And at this price it's a no brainer.
Great performace for the cost
Great amp hooked up to 2 alpine type r 12s. Sounds great!
Even tho the price OCS is asking for this amp is great I was lucky enough to find one with the end caps at a local pawn shop for $60. I have it pushing an American Bass XFL 12 @ 2 ohms in a 2.5 cubic foot ported enclosure. Amp is set on nominal and provides more than enough clean power than I need for my set up.
