Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
As the Kenwood DDX5707S is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, you can now read and send text messages without touching your phone, listen to your voicemails, make and take phone calls, ask for directions, and play music, as you can now use voice commands to activate any of these functions. You can also use its Bluetooth connectivity features to answer your phone calls hands-free or stream music wirelessly.
Optimal Sound Performance with 13 Band Graphic EQ and Time Alignment
Use the graphic equalizer to tailor the sound quality to your unique tastes. Additional sound staging is available with the Time Alignment feature, designed to provide optimal sound performance.
Built-in Amplifier
The Kenwood DDX5705S comes with a built-in amplifier with a 5-channel preamp output. It has a continuous power output of 21 Watts and a peak power of 45 Watts per channel. It comes with a 13-band EQ to tweak your amplifier's frequency response to your taste, and it also has low-pass, phase, and subwoofer level controls for a more defined audio quality.
True Mirroring via USB, 2-Way Touch Control for Android
Allows you to display and control your Android smartphone on the screen of the receiver. You can enjoy your favorite apps on a large display and with impressive sound quality. Before starting, just install the free app “Mirroring OA for KENWOOD” on your smartphone and connect it to KENWOOD receiver via a USB cable and Bluetooth.

It's like plug and play but just took me a bit to get the hang of the controls. Sound quality is awesome though, and the speakers on my F150 now sounds way better. CarPlay and Bluetooth works great too.

With less than 400 bucks, I now got an Apple Carplay receiver that comes with lots of features, especially for media. Its 13-band EQ is pretty useful if you are an audio guy as well.
