No dimmer is kind of strange. The controls all being handled by the same 3 buttons is a little finniky. I like the remote but it's not super responsive sometimes. worth the price though.
Worked great for 2.5 years, then began to randomly shut off then back on. This degenerated to the point where it stopped playing CDs. Crutchfield techs strung me along, suggesting it was a simple wiring issue. Just before the 3 year warranty expired, they finally admitted it was dead.
