Like all Power Reference subwoofers, the PRX1024 has a shallow mount design with a mounting depth of 3 inches, allowing you to install it easily, even with limited space inside the vehicle, and without affecting the bass quality.
Its FLEX technology allows you to choose between two impedances without any drop-offs in its audio quality and power output. Using Memphis Audio's DVVC Direct Voice Coil Cooling technology, it allows the trapped heat within the subwoofer to be immediately exhausted by passing through the vent holes, giving the subwoofer a very efficient thermal management system.
It also comes with high-temperature voice coils, allowing for sustained excellent bass response, even at high temperatures after extended usage. The Memphis Audio PRX1024 subwoofer has a power output of 300 Watts RMS and can go up to 600 Watts of peak power.
Its sensitivity rate is 84 dB at 2 ohms and 84.5 dB at 4 ohms, while it has a frequency response of 32 up to 150 Hz, which is perfect for any subwoofer applications, as it can go down to very low frequencies without any issues while being able to get loud with minimal distortion only.
