Great double din. Right out the box it sounds great. Has a lot settings for customizing your music the way you want it. With a 2 12 inch subs you can have your way with your sound. Touch screen is smooth and fast responding. This system is for serious audiophiles who like to be hands on with their music.
Definitely top of the food chain.
For its price, its compatibility with Apple Carplay is what really got me into it. I have always known that Kenwood products sounds good and this stereo unit is a true testament to that. Though no knob or button for the volume, we’ll the sound quality is still more important and it does not lack on that part.
This receiver makes travelling more fun, thanks to its navigation features. Works great immediately after installing. Features are the best for the price. Its got Android Auto as well which is one of the reasons why I bought this receiver in the first place, and it works perfectly fine.
Nice head unit. Two complaints. First no ipod connectivity. Second and most importantly, had 2 of these installed in 3 months and both have the same glitch where they randomly start power cycling over and over. Warranties out the first one, only to have the second one do the same thing. First Kenwood product and may be my last. Unimpressed.
