Optimized Performance
The AP 6.5 ohm2 woofer has been designed with a nominal impedance of 2 ohms to fully utilize the power output from the AP8.9 bit amplifier, which delivers 65W into a 2-ohm load. To enhance the woofer's efficiency and achieve a sensitivity of 95 dB, a lightweight coil with a 25 mm diameter and 10 mm winding height has been used. This design also allows for a linear excursion of 2.8 mm, surpassing that of the AP 6.5 (4 ohm) model, ensuring high SPL values with minimal distortion even at high volumes. Additionally, to broaden the woofer's frequency response to include low frequencies down to 50 Hz, a resonance frequency of 75 Hz was selected, providing excellent low-frequency performance without the need for a subwoofer.

- High current fast-on terminal with double contact on positive and
- negative poles for high flexibility and quick connection. The terminal
- features a temperature resistant plastic cover, protecting it against
- accidental short circuits.
