The Kicker 51HS8 replaces the Kicker 11HS8.
Overview:
The Kicker Hideaway HS8 (51HS8) is a compact powered subwoofer featuring an 8" sub and a built-in 150W RMS amplifier. Its compact size makes it ideal for installation in tight spaces, such as under seats in many vehicles.
Remote Control:
A wired remote provides convenient access to output level control. It includes an integrated mounting bracket for easy installation under the dash. The remote connects to the amplifier using the included 19.5' cable with 3.5mm TRS plugs on both ends.
Note: The Remote Bass Control dimensions are approximately 1.65" (W) x 1.03" (H) x 1.27" (D), with a depth of 3.20" when considering the knob and cable.
Subsonic Filter:
The subwoofer comes with a built-in subsonic filter, which enhances performance by eliminating very low frequencies that the subwoofer cannot reproduce. The filter is set at 25 Hz with a 24 dB/octave slope and cannot be turned off.
Mounting:
With its slim 3-1/8" height, the subwoofer is designed for applications with limited space, such as fitting under seats.
