Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
This receiver is Android Auto and Apple CarPlay-ready, so you can easily ask for directions, read and send text messages, make and take calls, listen to voicemails and play music using voice commands with the help of Siri for iPhones and Google Assistant for Android phones. It also has a Bluetooth connectivity option that allows you to answer phone calls hands-free and stream music wirelessly.
iDatalink Maestro
You do not have to worry about upgrading to this receiver as well, as it is compatible with the iDatalink Maestro module, which allows you to keep all your car's factory features. You can also check out your engine's performance data using its 6.95-inch touchscreen display.
5-Channel Built-In Amplifier
The Sony XAV-AX4000 comes with a built-in amplifier with a five-channel preamp output, allowing you to connect a mono subwoofer aside from your front and rear speakers. It can deliver a power output of 20 Watts RMS and can go up to 55 Watts of peak power per channel. With its 14-band EQ, you can shape the amp's frequency response for a more defined audio quality.
Composite Polypropylene Cone Woofer
A durable polypropylene diaphragm delivers deep bass, while suppressed peaks and dips in the mid and high frequencies ensure smooth integration with the tweeter.
Foam Rubber Surround
The woofer surround material is made of foam rubber, manufactured with an air-filled matrix structure that is light-weight and durable, providing optimal damping characteristics for responsive bass notes.
