This amp is absolutely amazing to run a couple sets of component speakers. I use them to run a set of Infinity 6.1's and Phoenix Gold Titaniums and have not have one distorted sound on them yet. Definetly a big amp if you can drop the money. Highly recommended.

I run six JL Audio amplifiers; and the 300/4 and 300/2 amps are the heart of my sound quality. There isn't another amp on the market I'd rather buy.

The sound quality from this amp is Crystal Clear. You feel like your at the concert with all your favorite artists. I use this speakers to run my 5X7 rockford fosgate speakers and this amp sounds better than any other amp that i had hooked to these speakers. It was worth the wait for this amp i'm looking to install one in other car...
I love this amp. I am running Diamond Audio 6x9's in my front doors and a JL 10w0 in the back, bridged off the rear of the 300/4 (until I get a 500/1 to run a pair of them :)) The headunit runs JL 5 1/4's in the rear doors. JL thumps - I think they are the best.
Too expensive for running highs....cheaper amps like kenwood and mtx will do the same....JL bass mono amps however are truly in a league of their own...
This amp in my opinion is the best because you can easily tweak the settings. I haven't seen an amp that was this flexible. I'm running Infinity Referance on the doors and JL audios in the rear panels. Stock setup won't affect this amps performance. Will even make a stock stereo sound good
Great amp, a little spendy, but you get what you pay for. JL Audio never disappoints.
The best cross-over on the market! If tuned properly this amp will amaze you with the sound quality. I have two sets of components running with this amp and they can keep up with my 500/1 running two 10W6V2's.
The design of this Amp is nearly 5 years old (Don?t worry JL Audio is not planning any wiring diagram changes to this Amp in the coming years, its technology is far superior) This Amp can outperform any other amplifier in its class. This Amp is awfully stable no matter what the voltage. The sound Quality and the detail is exceptional. The Cross over section for both front and the rear outputs is very flexible and the very best. The down side is that the initial set up is kind of time consuming and complicated more over you got to be very sure of what loads you are going to drive from the front and the rear outputs (Please refer to the Manual before pickin it up). This amp is godlike. No other way to describe it. I love JL Audio, everything in my car (cept my Alpine headunit) is JL. I have this amp running a pair of XR650's and a pair of VR690's, and it is incredible. I am amazed at how clear the sound is and how well they keep up with my bass. I have 2 10"W6v2's powered by a 500/1 and a 12"W7v2 also powered by a 500/1, and this amp along with JL's amazing speakers, is able to keep up with them.

I was running JL Audio 300-4 for my highs with four MB Quarts and the JL Audio 250-1 with a 12" Alpine sub all hooked up to the Clarion VDX935. Best sound I ever heard from any car audio. To bad it was stolen. Who ever stole the system they are enjoying quality at it's best.
Great amp. I switched from a Zapco which happens to be louder than the JL, but is not nearly as clean. I have it pushing MB Quarts components and they really sound great. You get all that you pay for and more. Highly recommended.

Awsome sound quality. You can't go wrong with any JL product If you love music in your ride!. Im running a Premier dex/deq-p9 head unit and digital processor with a 300/4 to a pair of XR650csi components in front and XR650cx in the rear, a 500/1 to a HO12w6v2 sub. The best setup Iv'e had in 20 yrs. JL THE EPITOME OF SOUND!!!!
Best amp ever bought, I have these amp bridged to a Total Audio amp (500/1) and I'm enjoin the greatest sound syst I've ever dream off.

I owned the 300/4 for about two months now. I must say I think this amp is way OVERrated. Don't get me wrong, I love JL's products. It's missing some lower midrange sound quality and some frequencies over 2khz don't sound as distinct and crisp as it did with my old Kicker Impulse ix404.4 amp. I just think that their place in amplifying the high-end can be achieved with products that have lower retail pricing; Kicker, for instance. I'm not a JL hater or am in any way trying to discourage buying their products. But I used to own a classic Kicker Impulse amp with a lower-rated power supply and that's the BEST my Eclipse 6 1/2's and 6x9's have ever sounded! Lower midrange to 18khz sound superb. I just wanted to make it clear to everyone that JL is the one true product perfectly designed for extreme, clear and rich bass. Not for highs. You can spend less money on products designed better for your high-end.
I've had the JL 300/4 for about a year now. It's running Kaption Audio MPT 6.5 components and 6x9's in my jeep grand cherokee. It's very refined, musical and loud and clear. Turn it up to the top, still clear. You can hear every note and whisper. If you're into sound quality, get this amp and quality components or high-end coaxial speakers that can handle the power. You will not be disappointed. You must match the speakers/subs to the amplifiers. I learned this from home audio, it's the same in car audio. I recommend having professional installation and tuning. When setup properly, this amp will outperform nearly anything on the market. My car stereo system almost sounds as good as my yamaha/paradigm home audio system. I never thought this level of sound quality could be acheived in a vehicle.
Just got this installed today. Kenwood kdc-x790 head unit with JL Audio vr650csi components up front and vr 650cxi coax in the back. Until today I was running these speakers off the head unit and I must say the switch to the amp is amazing. After getting the input sensitivity set (a must)the sound is awesome to say the least. Crystal clear with the volume all the way up! The range is also very good, no notes left hanging. Future plans call for JL audio zr650csi up front, xr650cxi in back and the 500/1 with a 12w7. This is my first experience with JL Audio and it will not be my last.
I've had my JL 300/4 for a year and a half now. I also own the 12w7 and the 500/1 for 2 years. Before i bought the 300/4 i was using a keenwood 4 channel to run my highs, it wouldn't keep up with my bass. I looked at other 4 channel amps and none could give me the power range I was looking for. So i went back to JL looking for a amp that could keep up with my 12w7 and 500/1 JL recommened the 300/4. I thought it was a bit pricey, but after buying it. I found out that JL amps i think are the best on the market. My system before i changed to JL hit in the 130 range on the db metter, but with the JL products in my Montero Sport. My spl level went to 151 DB. So anyone looking for car audio, should realy look at JL audio. All my future car audio will come from JL their the best in the field of car audio. Thank JL.
I installed this amp in my 2007 Mazda 6 running four MB Quarts RCE-268's in the Factory location running off the factory speaker level outputs from the factory head unit. (non-bose system) All I have to say is WOW!!! It sounds amazing!! Clean clear exceptional highs and even good lows! So my end result was a system that looks completely stock but sounds like no other stock system you will ever hear!! AMAZING!!!
I love this amp, runs a pair of Boston Acoustic 6 x 9's and Polk 6.5's in front and it has improved clarity and volume over my previous MTX amp. I know some people have issues with JL for anything other than bass, but this multi channel amp is definitely well worth the money. There are others out there that will do the job equally as well but you'll still be paying about the same. Don't get cheap amps and cheat yourself out of quality sound, if you want good quality you have to pay for it.
all i can say is WOW!.. started w stock, tryed alpine, n pioneer.. n jl takes the cake.. loud, clear and unbeleivable. you want good audio, go JL, currently running this amp, xr 650csi's, kenwood deck, alpine rears.. kicker sub n kenwood mono.. upgrading to ALL JL!!
wow what an amazing sound quality. Run with Infinties Kappa series component also 500/1 with 2 12" JL sub. Sound quality are nice and clear, Could hear Mids, Highs< and Low...Amazing sounds
A great amp! I have this hooked up to JL ZR-650's in the front and tr's in the back they sound clear and loud. I'm soon to upgrade the rears to C5's. I'm confident this amp will still sound great. I can hear highs over my 13w7 in the trunk powered by jl 1000/1. highly recomend.
