These are the best tweeters that I've ever heard.They sound like small midrange speakers. I have two pairs of these tweeters throughout my car.They also play loud and clear at high volume. I recommend these tweeters to anyone with a high-powered sound system.
I agree with M. Harris. The crossover network that comes with these tweeters sends everything above 2KC to these tweeters. And they do faithfully reproduce the high midrange in addition to the very high end. If your door speakers are mounted down low, these TWS's will really help create a much wider soundstage in your vehicle.
Just installed these within thirty minutes of getting them. They sound great. I can actually hear the singing over my two twelves. These just made my system pretty much awesome without breaking the bank.
I know a lot of people say Lanzar sucks but I know first hand if you stick with opti-drive and only opti then they hang with the best. These particular tweeters and the opti series tweeters are very good quality and have a clean sound along with their amps and subs. I've had every brand you can imagine and wouldn't buy anything else. Best you'll find at this or any other price. Take the Lanzar challenge. Remember opti!!
