  • This is a VERY nice sub. It really pounds. I have this hooked up to a 3000 watt boss amp and i cant even put it on quarter volume without it waking the neighbors. poor sound quality but pounds hard, depending on what you want more i guess

  • This sub produces amazing low end bass. I have 2 of these subs in a ported box with the M.A. HK4000D in an Expedition I am pushing about 1800 watts per and you can here me coming for a 1/4 of a mile away! I my truck is shaking to pieces! in order for the subs to really shine they need a very large enclosure.

  • this sub is very good if you have a powerful enough amp and a big enough enclosure. i have a 4 cubic foot box and a 2400 watt memphis amp and it pounds you can hear my from 1/2 mile away but the price could be much lower for the sound quality

  • I put one of these with a US Amp 1200x1 in a 2004 Maxima and it BEATS in the car!! I've been told to add a more powerful amp (2000x1) and I'll really hear it work!! It would be even more powerful!! GREAT sub!!

  • it is a loud sub... I have two in my ford bronco in a vented box i hit 143.4 decibels...they are loud but lack good sound quality...but if you just want something to pound these are the way to go... I love mine.. If you turn the subs down they sound better...

  • I just got two of these in a 97 camry. I have only got an ma audio 1000 watt amp pushing them. They are wired to 4 ohms a piece making a 2 ohm load. They beat my previous 2 xl 15's. I got the subs in a ported box at 6.5 cubic feet tuned around 35 hz. they pound. Im planning on getting 2 ma audio 1800 watt amps. one for each sub.

  • By David Ponce Liquefied innards anyone? Just stand next to Richard Clark and David Navone’s little creation when it’s on full steam: a 60inch subwoofer. Here’s some quick specs. The cone moves 6 inches peak to peak under full-tilt output. The actual cone diameter is 54 inches, with the 3 inch wide surround on the outside of that. The radiating surface area is 2,290 square inches. That yields a one way displacement of 6,871 cubic inches. That is equivalent to the displacement of 161 ten inch woofers that move 1.5 inches peak to peak. The motor is capable of producing 6,000+ pounds of linear force, which is necessary when considering the very large surface area and displacement volume required to produce high SPL levels. The woofer was designed with the capability to produce SPL levels of 188 dB. its a sixty inch subwoofer!

  • these subs are loud, i had two of the hk15x2s and they were pushin 155db in a custom box i made and they were under powered. I was only burpin 1000rms to each sub at 18hz and the excursion was crazy. i sold them and im putting two of the hk12x2s in my ranger in a 6.0 cu.ft ported box tuned to 25hz hoping to b louder than 155dbs. these subs are bomb if u want something that bumps. buy these they are worth the money.
