i got 2 of these in my escalade, i wired them up to 12 kicker L7 12's. They hit real hard, even the spinnas thump. But the lights dim a lil, but with hyperwhites you can see real good still, and the picture goes out also if you have any video equipment.
I bought this hk4000d here at this website because it was the best price of all other websites, so i knew i was getting a hell of a deal here. I've got my hk4000d pushing 2 15 mtx 9500's in a yukon xl and man it's sooooo loud. I can hardly sit in it while i bump, none of my friends or family members are as crazy as me or so they say. Yeah its loud and yeah my ear drums dance inside my head and yeah i can feel every breath like waves of air in my throat and i cant even swallow my saliva, I love It. I recomend this amplifier to only serious competitors who want alot of bass
Overall this is a really good amp! I have this bad boy hooked up to 3 type-r's in a sealed custom fiberglass box and OMG this thing pounds so hard! i knock pictures off walls when i ride down the road!! But if u buy this get a battery that can power this beast! i have a regular battery and when i turn it up to a certain point it shuts off bc its not getting enough current!! A MUST BUY FOR SERIOUS "BASS HEADS"!!!!
i bought this amp and stuck it to an audiobahn immortal 12" sub and get massive bass and all it caused my back window on my civic and my rear bumper to fall of if thats any clue to the massive power
This amp is very POWERFUL !. In order to really hear this amp at maximum output you will need 18 volts which is hard to do but 3750 watts in enough.When you see this amp lite up at night with the Blue LED and see the digital readout on it she will make the rivals DIZZY! I have this amp hooked to a pair of MA's HK12X2. These subs sing !! I can't even get the volume 3/4 of the way up. the amp has everything in my truck shaking violently !!!. You better get a pair of headphones. You can Believe dat !!!!!!!!!!!

Loud? Unhealthy? Those are understatements, I have just one of these on 2 MA Audio HK15X2's in my blazer in a 5 cubic foot box, To put this in perspective, The screws on the roofrack snapped from the flex in my roof, the rear window cracked, so yeah, but, yeah, good luck breathing with the 15s bangin at 3/4 volume, cops love this. I bumped so hard at BK that stuff was falling off the shelves when I was at the drive through. 155db :-)
Not so good on what it puts out. Don't get me wrong, it has plenty of power to run any one to four good subs off of it. I metered this amp at my acoustics lab and sadly it did an average of 3322 watts with a continuous 17 volts and 380 amperes of current for it from a 3-600 Volt Generator. Thats over 678 watts less than what MA says it makes. Great amp, just a little short on its rated power vs its actual power for an amp in its price range. My Kicker ZX2500.1 is $663 on this site, is rated for 2500 watts rms and does 2555 continuous with ONLY 14.00 volts on the same generator. You do the math! Good luck getting 17 volts out of your ride's electrical! lol
great amp no doubt Ma is great but also you only buy big amps for single subs. if you want spl no over heating or maxing outputs on the amp you need to buy single amps 4 each sub is way better and handel more and Spl is greater but this amp is great awsome just get your info right single big amps are not the only way to get mass bass and SPL.
I have one of these amps on a Kicker Solo-x 12, and this amp pushes this sub with everything and more. This amp is so powerful that I have to turn my amp almost all the way down, so it want blow the sub, and the sub is 5000 watts. If you are looking for something that has enough power to blow your windows out your car then buy this amp. I promise it will not let you down.
i have this hooked up to 2 x 10 immortal in a vented box in a g35 coupe , no trunk space, and when i turn it up 85% after 5 min of blasting you see smoke coming out of the box, i need better subs
this is a must buy if you want to burn out some speakers i hook this amp to my 3jl audio w3 15s and it bust all 3subs at the same time now i got to find some subs that can tame this beast
i sat in a civic dx at a audio show with this amp and 6-boston G5's and it wasn't shit at all.they hit 159.2db i ran a 400.2 powerbass amp with 2-18"old skool fosgate xlt and pulled 142.5db in a 77cutlass surpreme coupe. they spent 2-3 gran on there system and mine $200 from a pawn shop.
I had this amp running two hk12x2 in my chevy blazer and I was hitting 156db with two twelve inch subs I also know someone that had two of these amps with two ho15s hitting 169 this amp is the real deal along with the complete MA line
ight i love c n all these post bout this amp push n subs that it pops in 2 sec...and i really love Ben From Belleville Mi post he hit a 168 in the car the funny thing bout that is 162 kills u it makes ur heart skip so u die...but i got this hooked up to a DD AUDIO 9515G bout one of the only subs out there that can handle all that power no problem and it bangs i havent got ever single watt out of it bc it takes so much volts to power but i will get it 1 day...but it is a great amp and will blow most subs
Dude i bought this amp and onlinecarstereo didn't have it in stock, i had to wait 30 dayz for it. But this amp was worth it I got four JL W3V2D4 fifteen inch subwoofer and this amp blew 3 of my JL 15. this thing is a beast.
Doesn't do true power, and sucks ALOT of juice. But it's a BEAST.

I own the hk4000d and its pushing 8- 15" Qpowers and it doesn't miss a beat. I have a 92 explorer and i blew out my Quarter glasses. BEST AMP ON THE BLOCK 4 the price.
these amps work there best at 18 volts,they happen to get around 8000 watts or so with enough voltage droped into them.whats nice about these amp they are very relable and make a ton of power at a cost efficent price. but to make them work at 18 volts the clipping protection and the voltage surge protector needs to be bypassed. Ive used 4 of these amps in my setup. against 4 of the soundstream xxx 10,000 watt amps and i hit the same number on the meter.so my suggestion to anyone out there using these just put a kinetik hc 2400 battery next to the amp and u can make great power at a very affordable price
