  • im useing this amp to power a set of 6.5 alpine in the rear of my tacoma a set of 5.5 alpines in the front doors and a 8 inch kicker L7 and it all sound great in my truck. great buy and great price for a 5ch amp.

  • I'm powering a set of MB Quart RCE 216's through a bridged connection and a single Elemental Designs 11Kv.2 in a sealed enclosure at 2 ohms. Everything sounds exactly as I want it to sound and it's loud enough to damage ears. For the price, and the fact that this amp makes close to rated RMS power, you can't beat it. A word of advice. This amp has no fans at all. I've already burned one out due to overheating. Simple solution: wire in a 12v external circulation fan to move air over the chassis. The amp still gets hot, but not hot enough to burn up transistor leads like it did before.

  • I ordered amp after a local shop in town wanted too much money to repair my Memphis ST300.4 and Memphis ST1100.1 amps. I was very skeptical about this amp after reading reviews about it over heating and how hot it can get. I even called the 1-800 number on this site about returning it very glad i didnt. This amp will delivery what it says it will delivery 55*4 4ohms 200*1 4ohms no more no less. This amp has very good sound quality and is made for a sunny Saturday cruise. Hip Hop and Techno Heads beware this amp will not blow out your winshield even though you can get it pretty loud.So if your looking for ground pounding bass go with a Hifonics Brutus amp. If you do order this amp try to match amps output with your speakers and sub RMS.Dont have a 1100 watt subwoofer hooked on to this amp because your doomed for destuction.Overall very good sound quality with little heat afer a hour or two of play.Never played this amp in a 2OHM load though. My Memphis Studio series amps had a little more bite too them and can punish the hell out of a sub but what you expect from 75*4 and 1100*1 watts and over $1000.00 dollars.

  • Purchased 2 of these to power entire system, 1- 5th channel driving 2 subs, other 5th channel 2 other subs. Bi-amped all components. Installation was done early summer, after tuning and tweaking and surviving a brutal St. Louis summer, I am totally impressed with Hifonics. Beautiful cosmetics (love the blue lettering and leds) and transparent sound.
