These subs POUND!! I went and traded in my 15" kicker L7 looking for maybe two different 15"s..but the guy sold me on these Orions, and I am not disappointed..they will rattle your eyes out in my suburban i couldnt imagine what they would do in a compact car.... If your lookin for 2 12"s to buy..spend the extra money and get these!!
i got these subs in a package(2 subs w/ a box)for 3/4 of the price you will spend on just the two subs. with the right setup they will knock your boots off. ive got a 1800 watt kenwood excelon mono block class D amp on these and they hit great!!!
i bought theses speakers and put them in a sealed box ive had and they are running off a 760watt pioneer 2channel amp. they pound but i only have them hooked up at 4ohms the amp is not 1ohm stable so cant bridge. just waiting for my hcca-d1200 orion amp!!! then i know they will pound but great price and great durable speakers!!!!!!! i think orion has the best car audio out there!!!!!!!
I have one of these 12s in the Orion basspack paralleled to 1 ohm-hooked to a Kenwood pushing 900RMS @1 ohm in the trunk of my grand am. it absolutely rips-hits clean and hard, i can look at the back seat while sitting in the front and visibly see it pound through the seat. I would defintely recommend one of these unless you have more spare change around, then go get one of the Orion HCCA series, hands down the best sub for the money.
These are way sick.. I bought the package deal with the pre fab ported box and the two twelves, and all i gotta say is oh my god. These hit so hard powered right its rediculous. It makes me sick after just a song or two. I am powering them with a Hertz 1d it has 600 rms and 1000 watts peak at 2 ohms but we bridged them too one ohm and its rediculous what they can do in my jeep. A great buy for a nice system for sure.
i have 9 of these orion hp 12's in my 2003 dodge durango these are 500 watts rms and i am pushing one memphis mojo 4000rms amp in a sealed box and i hit 159.3 DB at hot importnights these can really pound i paid $100.00 each brand new with warranty
these subs are ok but ive had two sets of them in the last 3 years. the voice coils burn out in them. thats the only downfall to them. other than that they slam hard and are worth the money
i have 2 of these in orion ported box with a hcca2400 and all i have to say is OMG. Ive had l7s, type rs, and these slam.
These subs are pretty good i would compare them to Alpine type r's in the sence they bang a little harder but the sq and quality of them is no where near the r's. I could see someone getting a few of these for a budget spl setup.
Damn gud considerin i only have one powered by a hcca 600d n da sub getn 300 rms rattled interior loose on my 07 uplander. Overall damn gud
The Orion HP-12D2 Are the bust of 212s ever had for my 1100 rms amp that my SPL vary good @ 145.5 dbs at sound comp i took 1st place in my class advance pro.
