I have one of these in a ported pro box hooked to a 500.2 precision power amp(the best amps) and this thing knocks the shirt oof my girlfriend. but really these are very strong well built subs. They go low and sound great. they dont look bad ethier. i reccomend them but if you bridge it like me you need at least 600-700 watts going to it to make it work.
I have two of these hooked up in a jetta with ported sub boxes built by myself ported to factory specifications. These have an awkward RMS to peak ratio, which is hard to find a matching amp, however i have a power acoustik 3000w mono amp hooked up to run 1 ohm to two 4 ohm subwoofers. In a competition with only one hooked up to my amplifier it hit 141.9 db in a 1.2 cu ft ported box non inverted. I won first place at NOPI Nationals with both hooked up to the amp, inverted, reversed, at 146.7 dB, these have the power to really pump but be ready to smell the box frying from insane bass pounding. This sub really pushes. This is not necessarily the best sub for quality but mostly for loudness. If you want quality, make it a sealed enclosure if you want it to hit quick notes, i did and it sounded great. No complaints other than i didnt buy these first
I bought two of these and have them in a custom ported box powered by a Crossfire 600D and i just hit a 142.8 the other day. these subs are very nice and well worth the money.
I got one of these in a bass boster probox and a 800w orion amp! it its hard! and keeps up with the speed bass! this a very sweet sub!
I got 2 of these in a custom ported box with a 1200w class D mono amp from orion and these things can be heard from blocks!
These subs hit pretty hard i have them hooked up to a hifonics 1600 class D amp,we have them on one ohm.NNIIIICCCCEEEE
