I have one on this for give a real boost to my Alpine unit that only have 2V out , the sound is reinforced a lot (its give a 7v output)even i need to low my bass level (below -0) on my unit, if you are looking for a boost for you unit, give a try to clarion EQ'S you will happy how this inexpensive EQ helps to give a better sond quality to any headunit with 2-4v preotput.

i bought this over a month ago from online stereo ,this is better than my kenwood digi eq i had it totally seperate the sound my mids is super clear the highs is crystal and the bass thumps buy this if you want total control over your system.
I bought this EQ to go along with a 2006 alpine headunit.. it makes it sound a lot better and also i cut down on the engine noise to where it is almost unnoticeable. I would recommend this EQ to anyone. the only complaint that I have is that it doesn't have a cut off for my door speakers but im going to get a preamp cross over for that since my amps cut offs aren't that good.
WOW!!! this is the first EQ that i have bought and it is one of the most amazing EQ's i have ever heard... I personally belive that this EQ in my car gave it the concert quality that i have been looking for!!! Very highly reccommended!

This is a very good EQ for the $$$. You must take your time to adjust everything just right. I have mine hooked up with a kicker 4 chanell amp and alpine head unit...Crystal clear sound.
This is one of the best E.Q. out there and not to mention the price is excellent. I have this unit running my entire system and it is awesome.The subwoofer control is very conveniant if you have kids.The blue backlit light looks very cool at night.Clarion gets a A++ for this product.

Best investment i have ever made. Easily the best eq for practical purposes. this eq cost on average $200.00 around where i live, and 175.00 was the cost by me. This is basically a Steal... get this eq, you will not be disappointed. Not to mention, when its installed, around each nob glows neon blue, like great at night.

When I have owned high end car audio systems for decades.And the best sounding setups all ran a EQ.For anyone wanting a seriously hard hitting clean separate controlled real sound!Then you must use ether deck or one of these with power in 2 to 7 volts output to your amp! IF you do want a seriously good sounding car stereo system, period.After which and with this EQ allows you about all the control most will want for less neeed for more.And for what little this quality unit costs.Whats not to like and want to buy or dont run a nice system at all when this will make it all come ALIVE!Kinda like listening to a solo artist and then with a full band.Only with serious talent and killer sound board etc.As what most dont know.Theres alot more to what you do listen to at any good concert.Than just who is playing with afew good speakers.Car audio isnt any different and this is what most do not run for that real LACKING good sound.
i've had this eq for over a year and still no static from the nobs. its comparable to eq that cost $150-$200. its so worth the money. if you ask me, its way under priced

I got this EQ a year ago and it really makes a diffrence. I didn't have one in my first car but in my new one i have this and it makes the system sound good. you have total control.
@ 1st i thot this eq suckd until i turned off the hpf(yeh i kno)to my surprise the eq is a real system enhancer,the price is incredible, the power u get from it is amazing, i tossed my eclipes 6 band parametric,it wuz o.k but im glad i bought this 1,you'll be stunned wit wut this little powerhouse will du for your audio system, everthing is crystal clear,the lows hit juz how i want it, and the mids are perfect!!!
This EQ brought my system a live. The system consists of a Pioneer DEH3800 w/the cbII ipod connector and Gen 2 80 gb iPod, Infinity 6 1/2 comps and coaxs powered by Rockford P4004, 2 p312d4s powered by Rockford P10002. I get to control my mids, highs, and subs, with the twist of a knob. If you are looking at this, don't hesitate to purchase it. For the price and sound quality, you will not regret it. It will be the best purchase you made.
Worth Its weight in gold. Have this hooked up to a Rockford T400-4 pushing Infinity Reference 3-way 6x9s. The trio accurately and delicately reproduce music. This is what EQs are made of in this price range. Wonderful product.
I bought this eq 6 months ago and had It installed by a major audio installer in southeast michigan (Mickey Shorr), After they were done I was so impressed by the sound from this unit, It made my system come alive, Untill about a week ago I was having a problem with the unit popping when turning off the vehicle, They looked at it and think the unit is defective, so I had them take it out,,but before this started I was totally happy with this unit.. I would buy another in the near future and have someone else install it...
It is now Nov, and when I bought this back in May the unit I got would not work. Returned it and got a replacement and it worked awesomely for about 5 months although soon after it was installed it started to give a loud pop when the stereo was turned off (not a big problem just annoying). Last month the problem I had with the original unit came back and no audio could be heard. One day it works and the next day only the lights come with no sound. I will not replace it with another clarion product.
This is the second EQS746 that I've purchased from Online Car Stereo The first one is over a year old and it works like a charm. This one complements the Kenwood DPX301 head unit which doesn't have enough outputs for my eight individual speakers and three amps. This EQ handles my amps and gave me an additional auxialary input for my ipod too(via rca to 3.5mm cable). It sounds terrific and the blue lights are a nice touch.
This thing made my system sound awesome! The high voltage outputs require me to use a minimal amount of gain on my amp. The number of eq adjustment points is great. I have not had any issues with this thing in 8 months.
I acquired this unit to enable me to connect an iPod to my classic Mustang and keep the 37 year old factory AM/FM radio. The dual inputs on this EQ allowed me to do that. Also with the 8 EQ adjustment points and the amp I installed, the old radio sounds really good and the iPod lets me play anything I want without the need for a CD player.

I bought this eq and installed it. The best thing about this eq is the price. The adjustment knobs are way to small and you really can't see where you set the knob. The sound is clear but you are not going to get a radical change in sound. The seperate sub feature is nice. Oh yah I only used it for 15 minutes and the blue back lit lights allready not working. Save your money and look at a better quaulity unit.

This EQ is a must have for any bass head! Installation was a breeze. I am well impressed with the clarity in the mids and highs.... the sub control feature is awsome expecially when listening to different types of music IE..... RnB.... hiphop.... Dubstep... ex..... The only bad thing i can say about this device is.... Be very gental with the Power, Ground, and Remote ports..... Fresh out the box the screws didnt want to turn and i felt like they were about to snap off... but they didnt and all is well!
I've had this EQ for a while now, have had no quality issues with it. The knobs are kind of small, but then again, it's a 1/2 din sized EQ. I've run a few different setups, including Diamond Audio D6 components and subs, Alpine Type R coaxes, Alphasonik Components, an eclipse alum 12" sub, and as many as three seperate amplifiers. This really lets you"dial in" the music to your liking. It gives you WAY more flexiability than the typical 3 band parametric you get with most head units. The power plug is a little small, but manageable. The additional voltage and sub out adjustment makes a big difference for your gains on your amps. It's much easier to balance the levels and get much higher efficiency out of your amplifier(s). For the price, this is a really nice upgrade for any system. Plus the sub out 'kill' button is great if you don't need the bass (grandma, kids, etc...) in the car for the time being.
This equalizer is the #1 most sold equalizer on the market today and for good reason. It does what it is suppose to and looks good doing it. You cant go wrong adding this little jewel to your audio arsenal. If you have never had an equalizer before you are in for a very pleasant surprise. It will make your speakers and subwoofers act like their on steroids. A must have in car audio and the biggest improvement you can possibly make for so little money. Buy it you will love it! Enjoy
