I bought an old version of this sub and blew it with a new amp. I replaced it with this, and its just great. It's a cheap sub that will pound in a ported box. Also, the old sub I blew and this sub have the same power rating (150 watts RMS), and I've run 270 thru it with a p200.2, and the new one has yet to do anything but pound. Absolutely worth it.
I bought two of these for my 4runner and man talk about some bump!!! these are great the will get the job done and are cheap too!
i just got rid of my 2 pioneer subs that were 600W for this rockford and my new one hits harder than those both did!!! i absolutely love this sub and the price too!
For what it costs, this is a good sub. I just put one of these in a sealed box in my Civic hatchback with an OLD Rockford mono amp (300x1) and it sounds okay. I've always had Rockford power series or JL w6 or w7 and this is nowhere near the sub those are but the p1 is a lot cheaper.
I recently got 2 of these in a sealed box. They hit hard but a downside for me are the lows....they don't sound that good for lows. These are a great for a first time system.
i am laughing at myself cause I just got these subs and have them just hooked up to my factory radio and they already bump with just like 20 or so watts going to them. Can't wait to get an amp to really hear these babies potential. A great buy if you are on a budget!!
Had 2 of these in a sealed box, around 3.8sqft, had a shop install them and what ever amp they wanted, they went with a kenwood 460 watt, and the shop said they were the hardest hitting 12's they have had through there in a good while.
I have 2 of these in a 3cu ft. slot port box. they are pretty good subs for the price. in my box they hit the highs and lows really well.
This is a great speaker for the price. If you get the right amount of power to it, the thing sounds great and is the perfect amount of bass for a smaller car. Highly recommend if not looking to spend a lot of money
