Product Reviews For Orion HCCA152

  • i have this 15 in my 2003 chevy s10 extreme in a custom built box with dual round 4 in ports and the amp powering this beast is an orion 2500....ok this sub is ridiculuosly loud and with this sub i out beat 2 treo 15's easily and i have no competition right now!!

  • I have two of these 15" subs and no competition. Seriously. I'm running two 2400D HCCA amps (1 per sub) and my only complaint is that I can't find enough power for them. Don't put hese in anything without a solid body-- my car's nice, and they are in my rear seat area.. and my trunk still flexes about an inch. 4 inches of excursion? Oh yeah! I can almost shake the videos off the wall at my local movie shop. Every time I tweak the amps, they just get louder. Get "Bass, I Love You" if you want to blow everyone away. Kicker? JL Audio? Rockford? Don't make me laugh. Get these subs. Today.

  • With the right enclosure and the right amount of power this sub is the best hands down! But with low power and a bad enclosure its the worse subwoofer.

  • Got this sub in my Mazda 626. talk about hard hitting rattles everything in my house. Have a Hifonics 2400w amp pushing it and i can't say anything else but it rocks.

  • I have one of these beasts in a custom vented enclosure and it total blew me away. This sub is totally worth the money with the right box and the right amp.

  • Unfortunately words can not describe what this sub does. It really speaks for itself. There isn't anything it does not rattle. I have mine in a slot port box from fatboxusa with a Hifonics 2400. 2 Optima Redtops highoutput alternator and everytime the bass hits my volt meter on my trucks goes from 14 to 11 and dims everything. Unfortunately my amp just fried on me so I am working on getting ahold of Hifonics to have it fixed. If anything I will get an Orion amp just cause it will look better.

  • I have two of these in my 05 Dodge Dakota, with a Power Acoustick BAMF4000 on each one @ 1 ohms. I have run these speakers for hours with no problems, to me all around best sub out there, but do need there own power supply or you will be disappointed, so if you looking to get one, two, or four :) be sure to have the money to feed their power need, you never look back

  • This Is a very warm and rich sounding subwoofer that can handle extreme amounts of power. I am running a single HCCA 152 in a 3 chamber, slot port enclosure with a Hifonics Hercules 4k in my Honda Pilot. Vicious is the word I would describe the amount of pressure created by a single sub configuration. Orion HCCA is a MUST-HAVE!
