Its a great product, crystal clear picture exelent sound, great features, It fits in my 2006 chevrolet silverado like a factory option.
I was eyeballing this one and the Kenwood ddx7019 only cuz Kenwood had HD Radio. This one won out. My very first car video player. Just installed this into a 1997 mustang....had to modify dash tho....and it looks awesome. Everything I wanted in an in dash dvd player, except it doesn't show album art. I also installed the XM radio kit and I'm luvin it. I am one happy driver again :)
Fits my 2001 cobra like a glove. Sounds great and has all the features you could ever want. It only needs add on navigation system, other than that it's perfect.
one bad screen have it in my slammed 2005 chevy silverado looks and works awsome. great addition for a custom ride.
Pros: Many Features, USB with Hard Drive Capability, SD Slot, Bluetooth Phone and Audio (Optional Adapter you have to Buy), Sound Quality. Cons: USB and Large DVD disc takes time to read. Hard to learn Menus. Well I bought 2 of these, one for me and the another one for my Brother, and letme tell you this is and awesome dvd player. It has many features, including usb reader and the capability of play divx and xvid also.. so you don't have to convert the movies you download from the internet, just put them on your usb drive or on a dvd or cd, Holds like 8 divx movies on a single DVD, that's what I call PERFECT. As I mentioned My brother's Car is a F150 truck and the dash lights are green, and my Kia Optima are Sky Blue, and Guess What, you can change the background color of the Head Unit so it can Match your car's dash lights. It has 12 diferent colors to choose from. and the bluetooth capability is awesome, You can talk without touching your phone, and it automatically uploads your phonebook and call registry. unfurtunaly my nokia doesn't support text message by bluetooth. but you can read sms fron the head unit. so what else do you want? I will give it a 5
I have this install in my 2005 ford escape and it looks awesome, I love the Bluetooth feature and the usb conn. I'm not using the radios amp I have two external, one audiobahn A18001DT Mono CLASS D running two opti 1234 subs wired for a 2ohm load I have boston pro's in the doors run by audiobahn A1004DP I here alot of negative feedback on there amps well the truth I've been in the car audio industry for 15 years and tried many HIGH end products. This amp is the same or even better. Using High quality cables 0 gauge power and ground will give you the best performance. Make sure your head unit is high quality and make sure that the amp and head unit line out volts are comparable with each other if they are'nt it will effect your sound systems performance.
