Only downfall is that it doesnt have built in GPS. I upgraded to this over an older CVA 1000 series. The sound was much better with this unit, and the fact that it doesnt flip out is a plus for me. Lots of inputs, customizable and the touchscreen is great. Very happy with this!
I personally went to Online Car Stereo offices and I was treated like an old Friend By William. He is very knowledgeable and Knows His Stuff. He Told all about this unit up and down and it does exactly what I want. I can use my Ipod directly into the unit and put the ipod down and use the main screen to use Ipod. I can play my Sirius Sattelite. It Is one great unit I am very impressed and very satisfied with this Unit. It does navigation on the main screen it has a section behind the main screen where the black bird docks and out of view and that can be a hand held GPS also. Ipod, Bluetooth, Sirius Sattelite, DVD, CD, HD RADIO(who cares that sucks). It can do rear view Backup camera. And so many setting and the sound Quality is great also I'm pushing over 2500 watts @ 1 ohm its clear and crisp. So don't be afraid to get this unit it's like no other.
Great headunit. This deck interfaces perfectly with ipods and is extremely user friendly after you've read a little of the operations. Screen can be very bright or dimmed to your liking as well. Haven't had any trouble with it. Bluetooth adapter works pretty well too. It is a little selective on which phones it likes though so check the list before buying the adapter. Stock stereo mounts mounted easily to the headunit with creative plastic trim pieces sold separately. Install wasn't too complicated either but did have a couple more wires. I would highly recommend it to someone looking for a quality product at a good price that can be upgraded piece by piece.

I love this unit I just wish that I brought it from here instead of going to a dealer but I needed it right away before I shipped my truck overseas. But I honestly have not one bad thing to say about it. I love watching a movie through my ipod or dvd or even controlling my other 2 screens and letting my son play his Playstation and everyonce and (when I can) join in and play upfront while he plays in the back. I love it!!
I have this bad boy in my 97 grand marquis, and let me tell you, this is the best unit i have ever owned. The sound, the features, the picture quality, THE BEST. I especially like the feature that you can listen to you ipod while you can still be watching a dvd.
Just installed my Alpine IVA W-205 in a Dodge Ram Quad Cab two days ago. Looks great,sound quality and picture is awesome.Has nice and easy features. I-Pod and Sirius Radio is great. Alpine is the way to go!!!!
This is the best alpine I have ever owned I istalled it in my 95 caprice. this dvd player looks and sounds good a friend got into my car and seen it and heard it he loved it so much he went right out and brought one you just can't go wrong with this one!!
