well this unit is amazing with all the features that it packs, the sound quality is amazing and i can go from one source to another seamlessly. The ipod connection is crazy fast. I know the sound can be better after i get it tuned but for now its wonderful.
Pretty cool deck.. I really like it.. I asked a lot of people that I know what kind of CD player to get and 95% of them said Alpine.. No joke and they were right.. well worth it! great shipping, was right on time and packaged well so people don't know what it was when handling it.. thanks a lot and would order from this site again!
I went searching for an improvement in sound quality and kept coming up with this HU. I am not disappointed! A huge jump in staging and bass accuracy over my old $250 HU plus many more options. Can hardly wait to try out the IMPRINT feature.
I have this in 2006 sierra 2500hd crew cab all alpine speakers 2 10" subs with pdx4.100 and a pdx 1.1000 amps IMPRINT MAKES A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE
Im a happy with this cd player alpine makes a line of decks that are unmatched. this is for a range of people i.e. if you want good quality, or your want to manage your subs. would buy again cant wait for the new decks to be released.
purchased to replace high end Pioneer Premiere HU that kept braking. Very good build quality and sound. Excellent Display and fast interface with IPOD ( with optional cable )Parametric EQ a little limited, but better with Imprint tuning. Totally happy!
Absolutely amazing sound quality if you configure it with the KTX-100EQ. This takes some time and effort but is well worth it.
I really enjoy this head unit. Really sharp display, lots of options and great sound quality. It's not the most intuitive head unit. Rather it's very difficult to use at first until you read the manual and spend some time with it. But after that, navigating is a breeze. Only thing I really dislike is how you have to detach the faceplate to change cds. On the other hand, this deck is aimed more towards mp3 use so maybe I shouldn't say it's a bad thing...just a little annoyance. Bottom line: Great deck. Def worth the money.
