This cd player produces great sound`quality and control, plus a sleek and stylish look along with great performance, you can't beat it for the price. a must have.
i bought this stereo because im on a budget and wanted to hear good music in ma truck... so yeah this stereo is overall good for the money and it makes ur speakers sound really good.. i got it connected to ma kicker comps 10" and a 600w pyramid amp.. and dam i haftoo put the bass on negative because its too loud...but very good stereo
I didn't want to spend a pile of money on a stereo for my second car which doesn't see a lot of road time, but I still wanted good sound, a front input for my Ipod, and the radio had to match the interior plastic and the dash lighting (1984 Trans Am). This one does it, nicely! It's a little weird on some of the menu functions like programming the clock, but the important stuff is easy to operate. This replaced an antiquated Audiovox GM-250 factory sized headunit, and it's given me a new reason to drive the car more. With the SQ setup, it drives my Clarion Pro Audio 4x6 plates and 6x9's very tightly. The subwoofer option for the single preout is nice, too.
For the money I can't imagine getting any more performance or features than this unit has. I am very happy with the unit and it was well worth sacrificing just a little performance and some features (that I, frankly, don't have time to mess with anyway) to get a stereo like this for this price. Being able to plug the mp3 player right in is great and the sound through Diamond speakers is ample without an amp. This one's in the Bronco and I'll be getting two more for my other trucks. Very satisfied.
i got this in my 1998 Explore it produces pretty good sound. i got it powering a legacy 800 watt amp with two kicker 12in comps hits harder then hell plus clear well worth its price...
I bought this deck and thought it didnt work but it turns out the guy who owned the jeep before me had the wiring all screwed up so i spent a while rewiring everything and this deck sounds great now. For the price you arent going to get more features than this, plus 22 watts rms gets your speakers loud. And i love how its so easy to adjust the settings unlike some more expensive decks and it loods really good too. Definately worth the $69 i paid for it.
ITS BETTER THAN THE FACTORY STEREO AND DOES THE JOB PLUS IT'S BETTER TO SPENT THE MONEY ON SUBS AND THE AMP. I LOVE IT
I ordered this stereo for my car (1996 Toyota Avalon) and had it installed a few days ago. WOW what a difference! The sound is wonderful, and the controls are easy to set. For the money, I couldn't have gotten a better one if I'd tried. I've just ordered one for my sister for her birthday, since her stereo sounds like a My 1st Radio from Mattel for a child, lol! I think she will enjoy it as much as I am, and once again the price is the best part of it. Cheapest gift I've gotten for someone that will give them pleasure each and every time they use it.
The old LeSabre has the r&B sounding good now.just this 138 - a set of middle of the line kenwood 4x6 up front and 6x9s in rear deck.sounds great!!
this deck played great music in my 01 grandprix til i wrecked and the deck got cracked but the sound was great and when all the way up and it never missed a note very very good!!!!!!
Have one in my 96 vw golf. Awesome sound for the money. Ive been buying kenwood car stereos since 1980. They dont quit.
Love mine. Best deck for the money by far. Sure the sensitivity of the CD player and FM tuner is a little lower than higher priced units but the built in amp is the same on Kenwood units costing hundreds! I just wanted a place to plug my MP3 player into and this works great. Selectable Sub Outfor pre-amp out is nice. Great features for the money!
