Product Reviews For Pioneer TS-SW251

  • Giving it 100 watts RMS with a small 2 channel amp in a .5 cubic foot box. Huge improvement in the sound deparrtment! Plays clean and reasonably deep. Fills s10 cab with bass. Won't out pound your average system, but thats not what this is for. This subwoofer really does a great job. Made for small boxes so it will out perform alot of other subs that can work in small boxes, but are optimized for larger ones. Wanna get loud? Then get two or more.

  • For anyone in doubt like I was, this sub definitely does not disappoint. I have two hooked up to a Pioneer GM-D8500M Class-D Mono Amp in a slim Qlogic box (Qlogic TCM210) in my Toyota Tundra Crewmax, and this thing rocks! Hits lows like a full size sealed or ported box would! Even the installer was surprised at the sound that came out of these. I couldn't be happier. If you're low on space, and also wanting to save some cash, you will not go wrong with these! I didn't think the lows that these produce were possible in the small amount of airspace these use, but I'm now a believer!

  • I was very much surprised at the sound this flat sub makes. ive heard a lot about shallow subs not having the boom that people are looking for. i put this sub in a custom box i made in the back of my tc van, and it is loud! great response at pretty much any level, low bass even up to where a 10" shouldnt go. sounds amazing i definately recommend this sub to anyone wanting boom without the wasted space!!

  • Had 2 put in my truck powered with a Rockford Prime R500-1D. Sounds excellent! Hits hard and pretty deep. Impressed for being shallow mounts. I sure have missed having subs in my truck. Add's a whole new meaning to "MUSIC" while driving. Definately worth buying.

  • had 1 in my single cab ranger for almost 2 years and pumped 1000 wats into it the whole time, and never wore out. sounds better then most of full size 12's.

  • Very nice sub. Hits hard for its size and the size of the box
