I got this hooked up to my front component speakers and also a single 250 RMS sub. Let me tell you, it's the best amp I've owned for mids and highs. The bass I was getting from the sub was very clean and enough to shake dem mirrors. Pretty good for multichannel. The amp is listed at 400 RMS but it's more like 500.
Mine is rated at 70wattsX4 these amps are under rated in their specs unless you look at the birth sheet. Overall it is a great clean sounding amp and I definitely recomend it. I have had it for a couple of years and it still perfoms the same as it did new. This amp is great for a pair of 6.5" components on the front channels and a pair of 10" subwoofers on the rear channels bridged (just wire em in series for 8 ohms or you may blow em). I also have my input gains turned all the way down being fed by a JVC head unit. The volume maxes out at 50 on the dial and my eq's on this amp are set at just over half and my system is very loud and clean at max volume level. This amp is custom installed in a '90 Mitsubishi Mighty Max pickup pushin' a pair of MB Quart 6.5's in the doors and a pair of RF Series1 10's in a custom sealed box behind the seat My stereo ROCKS thanks to RockFord Fosgate Punch P400-4 This amp does not dissapoint!!!
Ok so first have have say that this is a topdog amp ..... 100x4 is a joke...lol my birth sheet reads 743watts total and 175watts x4 rms supurb sound spend the money its worth it RF is the bomb
Great upgrade to the worst car stereo that came standard in my Ford Edge. Plenty of power to drive the 4 door speakers and a sub. More power would have been nice but at this price point there is no better.
Great product... I was trying to get the old model to match my setup but they sent the new version...fosgate rocks and so does online car stereo
