I purchased this combo for my civic and it works great!! but with the ocerall power of the cubs it seems like it would be better to run two of these amps one for each sub.. it just doesnt seem like it is enough for them..
I bought them about 6 mouths ago. They have a lot of bass. I was like Dam when i herd them. I am looking for more bass now. so i am getting 2 15'' JL Audio w7 now. But if u get these u will be happy
Wow. I was lookin round for a long time dedating on what to buy even started watching vids on youtube to see how different subs would pound. I eventually heard one of my buddies mtx 4500 and was impressed but I wanted a package so I eventually found these. When I bought got them and looked at them I knew they would slap hard!. Install took me about 15 mins hooked them up and started blastin them. I was so impressed!! made my windshield wipers slap. I eventually upgraded the amp and now I can make my mirror fall off. They hit harder than my buddies rockford P2s and he has a 2000 watt amp Mine is only an 800!!!. couldnt be happier wish the amp was more powerfull it came wit tho. The subs scream more power.
Great sounding subs i have these in my extended cab f150 n they straight pound. i could only imagine what theyd sound like in a car. i also have 2 kicker cvrs and personally think these mtx's sound way better, and yes theyd prlly sound even better with a lil bit bigger amp.
Wow! these babys pound!! I have a 2008 hyundia tucson on a factory head unit with a pioneer amp which gives the 250 watts rms each. when i pull up into my garage the door to my house is vibrating. these things dont play windsheild wipers mirrors they all hate me. loose change is everywhere in my car cuz they beat it out of the holder. overall they will beat the shit out of yor car and you will be heard from a couple blocks down. They also have great sound quality. I even took my mom for a ride and put in some of her michael jackson and now she wants me to put one in her car. great job mtx!!!
I have been looking around and doing allot of research on which amp and sub combo I could get for under 300 and I decided to buy these though some say they were horrible these things pound shake the house and all houses around it, do not let anyone convince you these are garbage they are loud , just make sure you take time with the installation and use 4 gauge power cables and signal cables and do not go cheap on the head unit it installed correctly with the right gear these babies thump great deal for the money and they look sick when there set up, only negative thing I can say is it would be nice to have a bass control knob on the amp besides that Ive had no problems with either the sub or amp and the amp stays very cool even after running for a long time , amazing deal from MTX
i bought these off a friend and run them with a alpine v power 400 watt and dam it pounds. definitly worth the money

I Bought These Subs And A Jackhammer JH 300 Amp Pushing 340W RMS To The Subs. It Is Sycotic Bass. All I Can Say Is If You Want Them To Really Pound, Get A Custom Box Made For Them, Ported Of Course.. Better Sound And Better Bass.
ONE WORD............. AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET AN 8 GAUGE CABLE AND UR GOOD ......MAN THESE THINGS SOUND AWSOME AND CLEAN GOTTEM IN A CAMRY 4 DOOR AND IT SHAKES THE SEATS LIKE IF IT WAS AN EXPENSIVE SET OF SUBS!!!!
good bang for your buck, sounds amazing, my ears hurt a little right now, just got back. A better amp would make sense since this one gets VERY hot.
got them 2 years ago and first i had them in my 06 altima where they work great with stock head unit, but when i swap them into 08 tiburion with kenwood head unit they just sounded AMAZING, they are really great when you look for nice base for good price that is the number one product
