These things bump pretty good. I have 12 of them in my 97 Escort Wagon on 32 inch rims. They hit so hard that they blew my convertible top right off and my exhaust exploded.
Got two of these hooked up in a 2010 Lincoln Navigator L sitting on 29's. They pound so hard people thought Jurrasic Park 4 was Now Playing In Theaters Near YOU. Not to mention they knocked out every glass including my moonroof. Know the whole truck contains plexi glass.
I have 15 of these hooked up directly to my head unit. I didn't see a need for an amp, They pound so hard my car just disintegrated into thin air. Would not recommend
I have one of these XXX-18's in my dodge nitro R/T, on 4 SSL 5000.1, 3 industrial Optima yellow top batteries, 40 farad capacitor from soundstream and 1000amp CapCell from soundstream. I was a bit worries about amp selection and about alternator purchase but the setup works great for me, oh and Big3 upgrade as well. Lights don't dim and sound doesn't degrade. I have it on a 2" MDF ported enclosure @ 32Hz with a RF 3sixty.2 processor. And there's no way I would turn it up with me inside the car or with my windows up. This sub rocks. And lets not talk about my other 6amps moving my voice inside my car for a total of 9k+Rms on mids and highs alone. Working on a video to post it up on youtube.

Well i normally wouldnt say anything but i agree with Buddah and Speakerz ya'll a bunch of lie'n fools.. they are 18!! Two of them in a box would be as wide as any car/truck/suv now if u took all ya seats out besides the driver lined up u may fit maybe 6 of them in a FULL size suv. ie suburban. and to Kirk... ur the worst.. there is no way any system can blow out the front window.. its glass coated with a rubber or plastic i forget the name of it but thats y.. you never see a front window shatter, blow out, explode etc etc.. now u may have rattled it loose.. but no sir did u ever EVER blow out ur front window and any1 whos says they have or they have seen it in a friends whatever is a strait up lie'r now for any1 interested. i have a 97 Blazer SUV with two Lanzar Opti drive 15" subs with a Mephis m class 1000watt (1200 watt RMS @ 1ohm, subs are dual 2 ohm, ran pal = 1 ohm sub) mono block 1 ohm stable amp on each one. It hits pretty hard, i rattle most everything on my blazer u can see the top and front window FLEX but nothing much else.. lol but. the subs were unscrewing themselfs lol i noticed a few of the screws had came about half way out the other night. not $$$ stuff, but i do exspect to win amature and street this time around :P
i have 22 of these in my ford pinto. i also have 46 bd4000's and 456 compasiters. i have my pnto sittin on 55' rims and candy paint. those 22 subs actually made my kids heart stop beeting. i have to say these subs r the best thing that ever happened to me. strongly reccomend if want to piss the world off and harm alot of ppl!
saw one in a ford ranger extra cab with a blowout enclosure and the box took up half the bed, it was loud as **** i needed ear muffs
yeah this sub is insane just liek sam jones said cant beat them. i had 2 in a cutout in my 98 silverado extended cab and i would set off car alarms like no other. These subs would make the ground quake when you would stand there. I once drove by one of my friedns house and now i owe him repair bills cuz his house fell apart literally!!
i have 200 of these on my mo ped hooked up directly to my ipod amp ... let me tell u.... these things are infuckinsane.... everytime that ipod amp kicks in i start floating ... i no longer even drive my car i just turn the bass up and fly where i need to go... do i recommend... fuckkk yeaaa .. if you live on an island i deff recommend ... mo ped + 200 of these + ipod amp its a win win ....
