i have these in the front of my neon and they are really nice. they are a lil bit pricey but i got mine at circuit city when it was going out of buisness so i only paid 60 bucks. but they are worth 100 easily. powered by a 7300 series pioneer head unit with jensen 6x9s in the back. sound great with all kinds of music. super clear mid and highs
Originally used with JBL MR 17 boat receiver and was very satisfied BUT then added a JBL MA6004 Marine Amp which made all the difference. Highs are very clear and sharp with more bass. Advise adding an amp.
I put these in my car to replace the tired stock set. I've tried lots of top name brands,but these are the best by far. I only wish I would have put them in my truck instead of those memphis. If you want better than great sound buy them.
I needed something that I could hear over the kicker solo 15, I had in my old civic. So I got these and the 6×9's with a kenwood 500.5 amp. Very very loud! When it comes to good loud sound and clarity its hard to bear Polk!
I have been very impressed with the performance of the Polk Audio DB 651 speakers. The are very durable for marine operations. The sound quality is superb even at high RPMs on a boat. Would definitely recommend this product. A+++
Well since I have worked in the car audio business I always liked top quality products. And these polks are one of the best quality speakers . I just bought a 2014 dodge ram and I will be upgrading my stock speakers to polk audio the sound is amazing. I would definitely recommend this product .
They looked good on paper. Failed before warranty was up . The next pair failed again. ( rubber suspension on speaker. They were used to replace the stock speakers, 10 + years old 2003 GMC pickup. ) This truck has a stock sound systems with no uprgrades. I have a set of Polk home stereo speakers 15+ years old no problems. Not happy with this product, not what i would expect from Polk!
