These speakers are durable and extremely clean sounding. i've had kicker component, and eclipse component 6 1/2 speakers and they didn't have anything on the polks. these sound like what a $600 pair of components should sound like. i'm pushing them with a eclipse 4100 series 4 ch amp and i can crank these to the max and no distortion. seriously if you don't ever wanna hear again and want amazing SQ then these are for you. havn't herd any speakers for $200 come close to this type of sound

These speakers are absolutely fantastic sounding! They are running off of my stock BMW amplifier and still sound great! Just like their smaller brothers the db5251, these speakers sound double the price I paid for them. If you really love music and don't want to pay an arm and a leg for 'premium' speakers, get these. You may pay more, but you won't get more.
Great sounding speakers but I destroyed these and a pair of their 6x9 brothers; fried voice coils on all 4.. tweeters still kicking though. Running just under peak RMS with a Hifonics 100.4.
These Polks are powerful, clean, and good for the money. Easy to install with the bracket. A bit bright at the mid setting on the crossover, but dialed down to the lower setting, they are nice. Definitely better than the infinities I've owned. More bass.
