Great reciever!! I bought this deck about a week ago, and did all the installs myself. Very easy to do however I had to refer to You-tube to bypass the e-brake for video viewing while driving. Has plenty of features but very easy to control. Loving this deck more and more eryday!!
great feature filled head unit. has the ability to add-on pretty much anything you want. video looks great. i have a slight static issue however, that gets louder with volume. bought the bluetooth and steering wheel controls for a 2008 ford taurus and matched it with some pioneer 6x8's, a couple jl12w0v2's in a sealed box and the rockford prime 500.1 amp.. with all the install goodies it came up to $1100. very happy with the outcome.
This stereo met my expectations but I don't feel like they exceeded them. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely worth the price listed here, but I ended up going through all the options in one quick ride. Nothing to awe-inspiring, but still pretty kickass. Sound quality DEFINITELY improved. I was all giddy after having installed ($145 at a shop, because it needed to be attached to the parking brake and the dash needed to be cut) I drive an 02 Alero with a rounded opening for the stereo. The face on this is square, so it needed to be compromised. Touchscreen? Awesome. Mechanical tilting mechanism? Awesome. iPod control, SD Card capability, and DVD? Awesome. For the money, worth it. Don't be expected to lose yourself in the features though. To end this on a good note, you will NOT be disappointed. Do buy now. ;)
This unit is amazing. The sound quality is awesome, the picture is sharp and the touch screen is bad ass. All the features in this unit reminds me of having a computer. You can a SD card inside to download photos and make one of them a wallpaper, you can listen your ipod, cd's / mp3 cd's, Pandora Internet Radio, HD Radio or Local Radio. The list goes on with this thing. I highly recommend to anybody who wants a head unit with all the toys to buy this Pioneer head unit!!!!
I just recently installed this head unit in my car as well as the video bypass, im really impressived with this system. with the built in equalizer, my sound quality is amazing, i only have to turn it half way and my car sounds like a club on the inside, but thats also with the help of the two 12's Pioneer Comps i also have in the trunk as well. The AppMode works great cause i can watch videos from YouTube on there and other little things as well. also, the illumination on the buttons are cool looking, i have the rainbow effect going on so the color is constantly changing. i wouldnt trade this headunit in for the world. great buy.....
I just installed this today and damn this is a nice double din. has everything i was looking for. the picture quality is amazing, the 4 volt preouts made a huge difference. I love how much i can customize it. set my own back ground. the touch screen is awesome. just get this and trust me you will never regret it and for the price you wont find better anywhere.
Bought this a little over a week ago.......great unit very happy so far. I only give an 8 for sq based on the 8 - band eq.......great for most not enough for me......... Is however a great excuse to buy some Audiocontrol goodies. Overall a great unit and for the price cant go wrong
I bought /installed this unit in my 2006 Toyota Tacoma Ext cab. Kept the original speakers. The sound is incredibly crisp and clear and much improved from the stock unit. Installation took about one hour. You will need the wiring harness, and installation kits. Also i added the optional Sirius satelite radio kit which I installed under the drivers seat. The Sirius unit comes with all required wiring, just plug and play. Great value, great sound. This has been in my vehicle for five months now.
