I put 4 of these in my 2011 ram 3500 and....WOW! Sounded like i added subs. They are running off a pdx-4.100 alpine. The highs are very clear. My car has the type-s and there is a huge differance! I personally Loveum!! Fitting my old Land cruiser with all type-r now!!

the alpine type-r speakers are good for mids and lows but if you want to hear your music clearly at high volumes i would recommend you buy a pair of tweeters with these cause there lacking in the high's
The best 6x9s ive ever owned now i can free up some space in my blazer and take the sub out all together. i have these running off an older sony 4 channel 600w amp and they have alot of bass. I personally think the highs are also very good.
Replaced the factory speakers in my 2013 charger and they sound great. Can't wait to put an amp on them.
