Apple CarPlay is sick in my Toyota, fits like a glove. The screen ain't crystal clear, but who cares when the hands-free stuff is bangin'! It's all good, man. Perfect match for my ride, no doubt.

It took me some time to install it on my Subaru but it was worth all the sweat. Great features. Works with Carplay and its Weblink is pretty useful for other apps. It has good sound modes as well, which truly improves the audio compared to before. This is really a great stereo if you are using an iPhone.
Car stereo itself seems to work fine however the compatibility issues just outweigh the usage of the stereo. All the articles I've read say that this is Android compatible but what they don't tell you is that an order for it to be Android compatible and connect to your maps it also disables all the stereo features so you can't even listen to music as you look at the map that is provided by this system. If you have an Apple device it's possible that this machine would work as advertised but with an Android device it doesn't work at all I'm able to listen to music and barely stream music to the device cuz some days it works and some days it doesn't it seems to do it whenever it wants to. Calling support was just an exercise in patience. It was not helpful whatsoever and I'm still left with a stereo that barely works for me.
