Just purchased two of these and have them installed in my 2014 crew cab. This thing is a beast. Hits hard and very heavy too lol! Now I know why Massive Audio named their subs “Hippo” and “Summo”. I highly recommend them.
Honestly, the only thing I don't like is the lack of terminals but that is a very minor thing. Grabbed three of these while the sale was going on and have wanted to give Massive a run for a long time. Was gonna give the Kilo a run to see if the brand was for me but being a penny pincher honestly was the reason behind that and with the sale this summer, I'm glad I decided to give Massive a try. @ of these half-powered run just as hard as the 2 Type X X-W10D4 subs they replaced. Only ran on the kilo for a few hours altogether but it was no disappointment either. With 3rd sitting in the box and a severe lack of power issue, the sky feels like the limit, and I'm glad these are what I went with. After 20 years of buying nothing but Alpine I wanted to step outside my comfort zone and am glad I did with these. Obviously Alpine is no joke but neither is Massive in my opinion and am excited to get a new box built to house them at proper power.
The bass performance of this impressive 10-inch sub from Massive Audio is truly remarkable. It effortlessly handles the substantial power I'm feeding it, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. Pair it with a quality amp to drive this colossal subwoofer in a single-ported enclosure, and the results are nothing short of astounding. This setup is a bass enthusiast's dream come true.
