this sub is a hart pounding bell ringing explosive experience. I have 2 in a 93 ford probe with a legacy 2400 watt amp and the amp is a hell of an amp too. these are deffinitely worth the money.
this sub is great. i got a punch 800a2 amp hooked up to this and i can hear it from 2 blocks away with only 400 watts going to it . but rockford fosgate amps are the best.
great subs really loud for one. i have this in my tl and it knocks only flaw is that the voice coil wire touches and it puts my amp on red so i suggest siliconing the voice coil wire so it doesnt touch and then rip. great other than that. GREAT PRICE
I have 4 of these hooked up to a sound storm 2800 series 1600w amp and i'll just say people here me coming from about a half mile and its on low volume because you cant sit in my car when its on high volume!!!
Look, i don't know what your looking for in a sub, but if its what i was looking for u found it... can i talk about loud.... and super hard... I have 2 of these bad boys in a 04 Expedition.... with a ported box... its hooked up to a 1000watt kicker mono amp... its set at 1ohm... oh my god they hit hard, supper hard... no lie ive set off car alarms that r sitting infront of houses from the turnpike... no lie.... I used to have 2 CVR Kicker 12' in a sealed box.. now don't get me wrong they hit hard but not like these... these are so good that my boys are returning there sub's to get a pare of these... After they told me ''your going to buy that piece for crap after having kickers''... now they know why... If your looking for something with good quality and that dosen't hurt your wallet... go with these... and then when u here then in your car u can leave a review on this web site trying to tell everyone that thinks that more money is better, how stupid they really are.. no lie...TRY SITTING IN MY SUV WITHOUT HAVING TROUBLE BREATHING... LANZAR
i bought two of the 15 inch lanzar max subs that take 2000 watts a piece and have them both hooked up to a lanzar vibe 4000 watt amp an these are some great speakers they do exactly what they were meant to do and thats to just about make you go deaf but there excelent in quality and sound and for the price if your a little low in cash these are exactly what you need
I have 2 15s in my civic with a sealed box and a 4,000 watt Lanzar Max Pro amp and they are loud as hell and this weekend i am getting a ported box bc that is what they are the loudest in anyway these things are awesome
GREAT subs i just got 2 of this babys and all i have to say is that kiker L7s got nothing on these bad boys nope actually any kiker sub .... I never like kiker i own 3 L7s and i dint get the sound and bass that all kiker lovers say it makes.. i love this ..they take less space and the sound and the price are great!!ppl trade L7 4 this if you want real power.!!!!and you know whats good! 100% LANZAR.
I bought 4 or these right off the bat thinking I could give them each 750watts rms with 2 RF T1000.1bd's hooked up. It was too much power and they blew after 1 week. Lemme tell you, that week, my nostrels were flexing, and my rear view mirror fell off literally. They sound decent, but you do get what you pay for. There are MUCH better things out there, but run a nice CLEAN 500watts rms to each, and you'll be heard no doubt. I was turning heads even with just two in a sealed box.
I bought 4 of these and 2 of the 2400 watt vibe amps, and WOW! I'v had these almost a week now and come to find out F-150 rear sliding windows fall apart, and sunroofs leak!! If your looking for that Deep Low Bass that makes people look around like an explosion just happend...LANZAR!
i have had a pair for almost 3 months now they are exactly what u would expect for a good quality "cheaper" speaker. they are very loud evan with the amp turned down im running them on a mxa 282 lanzar amp. they make my jeep fall apart. but thats lanzar for you. full lanzar system except my head unit.
this speaker is the way to go if you want to be heard and have deep low bass thump, bang without banging out your pockets there not the hardest hitting sub but for what they cost there very worth it
i have 2-'15 lanzar max pro in a ported box with a poweracoustik 1600 watt 2ch. 2ohm. bass on amp on 0 bass on my kenwood cd player -8 and i'm still banging, thumping i have a 87'chev caprice (beating hard)two is enough but i'm a basshead and planing on getting two more '15 not sure what amp i going to get but i will be shaking the block that for sure.
First off read everyones review not once did i see anyone not satisfied with this speaker so i got a pair let me tell u well worth it i got it going to a lanzar 4000 watt amp briged, the amp is not even a quarter of the way on and my car is heard from a block away u want bass go with these u wont regret it.
i bought two of these awhile back i hookd them up a couple days ago with a lanzar 286 amp briged and i was way impressed there alot better then i thought theyd be they hit really hard good prduct great for the money
i just got one of these and wow.... i have a 96 mitsu eclipse with one of these in the back runing off of an old 1600watt bridged x-file audio. This sub sounds better than the two almani 12" subs i had. This sub is worth it i recomend this sub...
i got one these on a 1600 watt lanzar amp in the back of a caprice and man that subs hits. my highs are quiet and it really drops thems lows.
i bought 4 of these hooked them up to my 5000watt soundstorm with my amp gain 1/2 way up they blew so i would not tell anyone to buy these subs there are other cheap subs better than these
I have 2 of these in a sealed box running Lanzar 4000 watt lanzar amp and they knock hard. 15 mins with it half way up you start feeling sick, great subs at a great price
i recently bought 2 of these and hooked up with a lanzar 4000watts amp in my 1995 chevy caprice and literly pounds the beat out ya i recommend these subs.
i just hooked up two of these subs to a kicker kx 1200.1 and they really hit hard in my dodge dakota
i recently purchased 2 of these subs and put them in a dual ported hooker box in my 04 tahoe. Granted...the box cost more than the subs. I have them on a pheonix gold octane 5 amp....way underpowered..but still...very impressive...soon however i will be aquireing a cerwin vega 1200d....a very powerful and under rated amp.....and putting these babys on it..... Ill let you know how it sounds...
ijust got 2 of these subs and they really pound hard not bad for the price thanks olc
i have 2 of these subs in a 2006 cadilac xlr with a soundstorm 4000 watt amp i cant even turn my radio up all the way or it will u wanna jump out it hits so hard i recommend this sub in a bigbox to get all u can get
I would definantly classify these as compition subs. These will kill majority of the compition. If you are a teenager lookin to turn heads for not much cash, these will do just that. They flex the roof of my trailblazer. I think for quality, they may not be THE BEST, but they are certainly the loudest and amazing for the price! I strongly recomend that A.) You stick with a lanzar amp (preferably 4000 watt max)and B.) get a big enough (ported) box for max bass output.
got one in my buick century in a non-ported box which is way beter than ported by the way, with a 1800watt rockford amp bridged, it hits pretty good, no complaints at all, but if you buy one of these just make sure you know how to wire up dual voice coils subs, if you have a suv like a jeep, blazer...... this is 4 you, all you need is one in a non-ported box with a decent amp and you will be bangin
Got these babies hooked up with the Lanzar Maxp154D 4000 watt 1000/2000max AMP in a 01 taurus..... and boy....................Oh boy................Talkin bout turnin heads?? Talkin bout hurtin ya chest at HIGH volume?? Must I go on??? Oh by da way their customer service is GARBAGE Cause they take too EFFIN long! Other than that BOOM!!!!!!!!!! UGGGGGHH...
Great sound and mind bogglin' bass but these babies will blow.... I had my subs for a lil over a year and fried...
I got this sub just the other day and it sounds okay. I only have it on a 1000 watt Hitron amp, two channel. It hits the mid and low notes very well and I plan on getting a second one with a much bigger amp.
I have two of these in a 99 crown vic in a sealed box on a hifonics BXI1606D amp and they beat hard.Had two L7 12' louder than them and have lasted longer.Great sub for the money.
Just my opinion you get what you pay for. I had roughly 600-700 watts to each of my two MAXP154D subs, ten minutes later i thought i had a fire in my enclosure. Oh and i was running half volume with mild gain...
i got to of these on a 2000 watt lanzar otpi drive amp and man those subs can really drop some lows and my highs are so quiet that it sound like my amp cuts off.
Me again, and im actually buying 3 more of these for a project in an ext cab ranger, custom box tuned at 35htz and about 6 cu ft air space! cant wait. second time around and I already know these are BADA$$! LANZAR FTW!
These Subwoofers Are Garbage Seriously I had them install by a pro and they sounded like shit so I'm sticking with Alpine and Kicker subs because the inaccuracy of these subs is sad. I had 2 hooked up with the lanzar MXA282 in a sealed box and that shit was trash too.Pass this and spend a little more money on something better please people.
Great subs for the money i got 2 with a 2000w boss audio amp in my 1998 xtended cab dodge and they shake everything around
these subs thrive in a small sealed enclosure no more than 1.75 cubes, take your time breakin em in. im running the vibe 276 amp and two of these. its upright ridiculous. people hear me from blocks away and i shake the ground and windows of the houses around me. well worth it. A+ lanzar
I have two of them with a Power Acoustik A2400db and the pound hard. I use to have three pioneer tsw308's and these things hit harder than them. I do not know why they are so cheap. Other than them having a paper cone, they are great.
I have two of these hooked up at two ohms with a lanzar 4000 watt max282 amp. These things pound. They are in a ported box on the back seat of my superduty. I can be heard 2-3 blocks away and can shake some buildings. Wanna get some bang for a few bucks then these are for you. In the same exact box and with the same amp I ran two Rockford Fosgate HX2's and they weren't anything near these.
I just recently bought two of these Lanzar 15's for my 2000 dodge dakota and nevertheless they sound pretty good. I really don't like the way their made with the rubber around magnet and the fact that their paper cone. I don't have any real power on them right now, but a 600 watt american pro amp at 1 time 600 watt bridged, so it's not getting any real power on them. Their rated at 1000 watts RMS but I don't yet if thats true until I get me a beast of a amp to test them.T he box that I orderd with the 15's was to big to fit in my back seat in my dodge, so what I ended up doing taking one of my seats out just to even get it inside my truck that suck, but once I got it in it was all good.Overall I like them but I just don't know what they can do until I get a real amp.
i have 2 of thease pushed by a vibe286 wired 2 ohm stereo 6.80 cufeet sealed box they have already claimed my back window of my cherokee one of the best subs out there i strongly recommend these
i have 2 of thease pushed by vibe 286 4000x2 at 2 ohm stereo 6.80 cufeet sealed box i strongly recommend thease had to replace back window in 97 cherokee one of teh hardest hittin sub made so far 147.5 on term lab 08-15-09
i have one of these in my bravada and they sound amazing and they actually can move chicks hair
these rock they pound really hard i have three of them hooked up and pushed by vibe 286 4000x2 at 2 ohm stereo 6.80 cubic feet sealed box in my 2004 suburban and you can tell they hit hard when u have it turned up and ur lience plat falls off plus people can hear me comming the only down fall is my mom hates them so i have my amp hooked up to a toggle switch haha mom no more yelling
If you wanna a lot a bang and keep ur cash, get these. I have 2 in 3.5 cu ft box with 3/4in MDF in my 04 GTP. There pushed by the boss audio OL4KD 4000w@1ohm, 0ga wire 8farad cap. I honestly have not turned them up to max because I'm afraid of blowing out my windows. I don't like the paper cone but that's why they have a warranty.
This lanzar 15inch sub is not a true 1000 watt sub, it's really like 500 rms and it do sound pretty good just not a real 1000 watt sub, the price obvious!
these subs are not that durable as you think, 1000 watts rms I'm not sure of that because I have 2400 watt class D concept amp and this one I have is their original amp that they came out with and it's 90% efecientcy around 3000 at .5 ohms and these subs are maxed out with my deck on just volume 5 so these can't be 1000 watts rms. I seriously doubt these are a true 1000 watt woofer probablly 600 0r 700.
I wanted a budget stereo. So I went with these Lanzar Maxp15d's. Six of em'. I have an Astro walled off behind the back seat. New box double thick MDF all the way around. bout 32 cubes. Port is tuned to 40hz right now. I figure I'm right around 150db. My auidocontrol mic bounces around 150 to 151 on tones. So needless to say these subs are loud. 2 MaHK2000d's for all 6 subs. They might be getting 500 watts at best a piece. So if you build your setup right they can definitely "take your breath away". I'm a trueblooded basshead and I'm impressed so far. Competing is what I do and I'm advertising for Lanzar now.
i highly recamend thease subs i have 2 maxp154ds in 6.0 cu ft sealed enclosure with 2 lanzar opti6000d's one on each sub xspower d3100 batt dcpower alt no capasitor and thease things beat ur brains out 151.9 @ 35htz on term lab im from old school and ive always stood behind Lanzar
I got 2 of these for my expedition. This was the first system I have ever had in my car and it is pretty cool to be able to feel my nose shake when I've got the volume turned half way up. Really happy with these.
i bought 2 of these in a sealed box hooked up to a cadence ultra drive 1200 watt amp and they pound im verey impresed with the sound i get
getting ready to put two these lanzar subs in tomorrow with 1800 watt ma audio amp will post later to say if great or not had the lanzar 4000 watt amp kept blowing fuses after two min of playing not saying bad amp just dont know what i did wrong had them on two alpine type r 12 well let you guys know when in day or to how well they worked out for me
pretty good subs 4 the price. I had 2 in a sealed box built 2 specs running off a db drive 1200d platinum.they dont hold the power they say. I cut the amp down a little so they wouldnt blow.had no prob with them highly recommend if you dont want 2 spend a lot of money on subs
For the price, they are tough to beat. Had mine for 1 year, in a sealed box, bridged to 2 ohms. They slammed pretty good for a $150 pair of subs. They did blow out though. After 1 year of hard work. They were pretty impressive though, as I had one of the louder systems in town. It made my windows and doors in my 1999 S10 blazer flex. We bounced a gallon of water on top of my truck, it was jumping 6" or so at a time. Was hilarious. These are my 3rd set of lanzar subs, and I am finding they aren't built to last, so I am going to quit playing games and step up to something nicer. Going soundstream 15s with the matching tarantula amp. Should be louder than these were by a long shot. Anyway, like I said, for the money, they are ok. If you want subs that last and are planning on pushing them to their limit. Don't buy them. I was pushing them pretty good and they only lasted a year.
I just got two of theses subs and so far i like them. They can handle high power, for now im pushing both with a 1900w alpine ,but i can tell they can handle more. Playing music with low end bass is too much fun my car feels like a basket ball bouncing.. lol . im having fun with them. But I will keep you posted on my next move which is to add another 1900w alpine amp .
Just got 2 of these today. runing them in a sealed box with 2 cubic feet in each side. running them off of a 600 watt soundstream rubicon amp in stereo mode with 300 rms goin to each one at 2 ohms and all i can say is wow. these things are just incredible. for a lower end sub they really slam. they are just being broke in and they already shake everything. they make my whole body tingle and flex the roof in my 93 s10 blazer. these things are just ridiculous for the price. gonna run them like this for awhile then in about a month im gonna bridge them for 600 rms at 4 ohms and see how they take it. these are my first pair of lanzars and from now on im hooked. its lanzar from here on out.
Purchased two of the Lanzar maxp154d 15's, put them in a non ported, slanted box. They quake as people used to say, like competition subs. I had put them in my 2006 Cadillac DTS and the first week I had them in my review mirror rattles off (had to have cadillac install me a new one no bs) lol. Had a Volfenhag concept 2400w amp pushing them. But im not new to how hard lanzar subs hit, my first system was two lanzar 12s in a big ass non ported box 1500w power acoustic amp, in my 95 Cherokee. So these are highly recommended for a great price.
I have 2 Lanzar 154D'S, AND ALSO 2 124D'S. I am so impressed with the way they sound along with the price. I am currently trying to start up a biz with these type of products. Just to show that you don't exactly need to buy those $800 dollar amps if you don't have that kind of money, in order to have a slammin system. These subs can handle a lot of power. I have all my subs run off their own amps well 2 at least. The 15's are run off 2 Crunch 1900 watt Ground pounder series amps, and the 2 12's are run off a single 1600 watt Powerone series amp.
Good subs. Right now they are hooked up to a lanzar amp which is trash because it overheates a lot. But the subs are good. Worth the money
I have one 15" Lanzar Max Pro and it hits hard ! I have it in a sealed box with the heritage 3000w amp . It's wired for 4 ohms . It can hit harder then what it is now . I'm getting the Optidrive series next month and another 15" . Love it
I put one of these in my daughters Tiburon in a sealed box with a 4000 watt boss amp. It runs 1500 rms. It does hit hard. I even ran the amp at full power for a minute or two. It didn't seem to stress the sub at all. Over all a damn good speaker for the price.
While the subwoofer was working , it had a great low sound. But in some advertisements I See 1000 w. RMS. But after a while I found out , it cannot handle to much power . 500 w. RMS is better. See on my instagram account what happened. bassheadnl1000rms is the account name.
