Just purchased this unit for my Expedition. Beautiful picture, great sound and the Bluetooth is sweet to say the least. If you are like me and need full detachable front video this is the way to go without question. Thieves are just evil, if you have a 7" In-dash and take the brain of the unit with you, most likely they will go after you rear monitor if you have one and just so happen to tear up you dash just to let you know there we there. I do have a Viper system, a 15" in the rear, a 7" hidden from view in the passenger visor and the JVC KD-AVX33 that comes off full face and leaves the dash looking like a simple CD player. Will a thief try me, who knows, but with this unit, you look like a less likely target
Build-in bluetooth works perfectly with my sony-ericsson K810i mobile phone. I also bought a new Samsung YP-2 with build-in bluetooth Mp3 player, it works very irratically with this head unit. Instead using bluetooth to stream the music from the Mp3, it is better to use the USB port. The DvD player is lovely with perfect picture and 5.1 surround sound if you have the right speakers. Easy to use controls.
This system is totally awesome. I was thinking about getting either this or the jvc awx800 but eventually i had to go in for this because it had the bluetooth option which was inbuilt. The system has the sound to outmatch the features that it incorporates and i gotta say im one happy camper. If u want the bang for every buck ur spending dont even hesitate going for this system.
i jus got this head unit for my 2002 impala, and i'm very impressed.. i can turn my sound system upand my sound system wont distort at all. the equalizer is amazing, and this prolly gonna be the only head unit i'll ever use again
