Our subwoofers boast an overcompensating motor structure for heightened magnetic strength, paired with a 12mm T-Yoke & Top Plate for improved low-frequency dynamics. The vented T-Yoke & Frame reduces voice coil heat build-up, while the die-cast aluminum heat sink dust cap absorbs heat. Additionally, aluminum dust cap fins dissipate heat and strengthen the cone. I got one of these hooked up to a 1500w RMS amp. Even with a Kinetic hc1400 battery added to my power system, I still cannot turn this up past half. (110A alt.) But even at the volume I use, this thing shake the entire car. I drive a mitsubishi 3000gt and I can flip a dime on the roof of my car from the power of this sub. Not the best range of sounds (at least in my 3.0 ft3 box tuned at 34Hrz) But for SPL, you can't beat this price. Also looks good! I've had it for about 6 months now and not a single problem besides having to replace an alternator already.
I own 2 and they hit hard my poor 93 Honda is falling apart already, i use to have the older model and they both get loud.
i have 1 of these wired at 1ohm in a super bass probox with a 1600W Hifonics Brutus and a kinetic hc800 to keep it charged. With a JVC Head Unit. This system makes my head hurt so bad, makes my ears ring for hours. I love it. Its pretty loud, and it can take the power my amp is feeding it, its a beast
These things are sooooo loud!!! I finally convince my wife into letting me install a system in the '95 Buick Lesabre Limited I brought a few months ago, granted she has alredy been fussing about the money I've put into it. Anyway, I have two of these head busters wired down to 1 ohm on a Precision Power PPI S2000.1D mono block inside of a ground shaker duel 12 ported box, since I've had these boys installed I am the neighborhood DJ in my car. If you want to make a serious impact these are by far the best subs I have ever dealt with and the saying a lot since i was brand loyal for years to JL and Kicker
I want to update you on these subs, I have two of these now hooked up to a Lanzar 3201d wired to.5 ohm these subs now bring tears to my eyes how beautiful these things sound. My kids often know when I am home from the point I am around the corner from the house. Funny thing is I dont ever have the HU past the volume of 15. Love these subs cause Im living out loud and clear.
