The Infinity Reference comes with 6”x9” 3-way car speakers. These speakers fall into the 3-way speaker category. The woofers are constructed out of Polypropylene. The speakers are light, but stiff Polypropylene woofer cones won't flex or distort. Also featured in these speakers are a Plus One+ woofer cone design. The Plus One+ design offers a larger surface area. Plus One+ Woofer Cones provide a significant improvement to overall quality performance. Oversized Plus One+ woofers yield an enhanced midrange sound as well as a wider area for peak bass output. The woofer cones also feature a Hi-roll rubber surround in the unique basket design. Hi-roll rubber surrounds allow a greater range of movement for the speakers. These speakers also include 0.75" Super Tweeters. Similar to many Infinity home speakers, Infinity uses the same Metal Matrix Diaphragm tweeter. This will provide minimal coloration or distortion. The dome tweeters also allow for better stereo imaging by providing pivoting capabilities. With the ability to pivot the tweeters, a more focused sound will heard. The speakers are capable of handling up to 300 Watts Peak Power and 2-100 Watts RMS. Also, possessing a response frequency of 46 - 30000 Hz, these speakers will deliver a quality performance. The impedance registers 2 Ohms while the Sensitivity pushes 94 dB. The speakers have a top-mount depth of 3”.

Forgot how good Infinity really is. These speakers sound perfect at all levels. Just have them hooked to the head unit and the highs are crisp, the mids are clear, and the bass is sharp. OCS did a great job getting me a replacement speaker for a cancelled back order.
I couldn't be happier with these! I bought these speakers while rebuilding a car, redoing the entire audio system down to the wiring. I wanted some 6x9's that would sound great and crisp, and also be able to handle a fair amount of bass. I needed some mid bass and kick to compliment the subs, and these have done great. They are great value and have great build quality. They are heavy and feel solid, I'm sure they will provide years of use, and after a year I haven't any complaints. Complimented by infinity 6.5's up at the front, 2x10" polk subs, all powered by infinity amps, my system sounds great!!
These speakers have nice clarity and some decent mid bass when needed. They are a great speaker for the price, and an excellent upgrade over factory speakers.
I installed these to upgrade factory speakers .The sound Quality is excellent . And the Great customer service from onlinecarstereo was the winning ticket for me
Greetings all car audiophiles! I'm old school and 59 years of age. I have had Infinity speakers in all of my automobiles from a 1974 Chevy Vega to my present car, a 2008 Hyundai Tiburon.
