I’m leaving this review as a consumer and my experience with the product Audio Control DM-810. I have a 2022 ram 1500 crew cab 4 x 4. I replaced 4 door 6 x 9 factory speakers with Audio Frog’s as well as 3 3.5 in the front dash. I also have 2 12inch subs in custom box under back row seats firing down. Two diff amps, one pushing the doors and one mono pushing subs. Had professional installed. I didn’t like the sound when it was installed. I’m a rookie audiophile and I was expecting a sound similar to my home Polk r700 series. I figured the speakers needed a break In period so I delt with it. At times I let truck run in driveway with radio on to speed up the break in period. After a month I still wasn’t happy. Most times it was way to bright and caused ear fatigue. My installer recommended a DSP. They’re lots out there cheaper then the DM-810. After reading some reviews I settled with the 810 and purchased it. I must say it is expensive for me and it was hard to pony up close to a grand for it. Received it on a Saturday morning and straight to the installer I went. He sat me in the drivers seat and took measurements. He ran a laser from each speaker and pointed at my ears for measurements. He had a mic he put in the truck to get readings. I was in shock to find out it took him approx 5-6 hours to go thru all the settings and fine tune it. Which he wasn’t afraid to charge me for the time as I I paid 400.00 to have it done. When finished I sat in the drivers seat to listen for the first time. When it played I was In complete shock. Almost to the point crying because it was exactly what I was looking for. I closed my eyes and felt like I was in the crown and my band was playing in front of me. To say it was amazing is an understatement. To this day Insit in my truck at home and listen to music just to feel and hear the experience. Do not think for 1 min you could get the same results with a DSP. If someone tells you can they are 1000 percent wrong. I can say that the Audio Control DM- 810 works flawlessly. I can tell you the 810 will change the way you listen to music. The amount of control you have to tune each component separately is the key to everything for me. The two small negatives for me are the price. It’s steep for sure but after seeing what it does it’s worth every penny. Last thing I’m a novice in radio game. I had to pay a pro to install it and set the setting in the app. I’m not sure if ur not a pro and understand everything you could set it up yourself. In all I give the Audio Control Dm 810 a 9 out of 10 stars.
