I bought 2 of these radios. 1 for my 2012 roadglide, and 1 for my aunt and uncles 2011 police electra glide converted to a tri-glide. I Installed the tri-glide very easily with no problems in 2 hours. Probably could of done it in an hour, but I was taking my time since it wasn't my bike, and I dont like fixing things I've done already. The other radio is going to be an over the winter build. I will have to update you guy's on that one later. Over all the 1 I installed so far is everything it is supposed to be. No complaints here. P.S. If your looking for fancy, this isn't for it, but if you are looking for functionality, easy use, good power, and some advanced fearures for a lower budget head unit, this is definitely a good buy!
Totally awesome stereo. Going in our Hewes Craft Searunner
I have an 80 JP cj5 that I have owned for 40+ years. It is used for work which is off-road 95% of the time. It sees a lot of mud, dust, debris and moisture and so far sony stereos have been the only head units that can take this abuse, period. I’ve tried JVC ,Kenwood(didn’t make it a week),Soundstream, Alpine,DS18 (to be fair this unit still works . I pulled it after 2 weeks because I wasn’t happy with the quality). I replaced it with the Sony DSX-M80 and love it. I don’t know why I ever strayed. ONLY IN A JP , with a sony.
